This is the photo I was told I could share. I have just brightened and cropped the original.
This helps a lot to place the mobile home and see the area. (Beautiful view, by the way.) Is the pvc pipe the vent pipe for the septic tank?View attachment 71779View attachment 71780View attachment 71781View attachment 71782

Was it yesterday the reward was offered?
Good grief...unless he knows what he is talking about, this is uncalled for at this point.
But-I do agree that someone has to be responsible for this septic tank, be it the landowner, parent, etc...you just can't be this careless (if Noah managed to lift lid himself). Totally unacceptable...not much different from leaving a loaded gun around, Imo, with little kids nearby.

Thanks for posting the photo!
sounds like he was allowed outside to play unsupervised by parents.I think I'm okay sharing this as well... My cousin Angel said Noah and her girls played together a lot in the shared yard. She said Noah was sweet and curious and friendly with her girls and her fiancee. He was very interested in the motorcycle that her fiancee owns. He was, however, very shy/standoffish with Angel. She said she only saw Mom once, when she came from inside to the porch and told Noah to come inside. She said she never did see the Dad. Noah's parents and Angel's fiancee both rented from the same elderly gentleman, who she indicated was a very responsible landlord.
I am still confused about the fact that if everyone had a septic tank in the neighborhood - why did LE not search the one on Noah's family property right away?
Thinking out loud:
1. There was a another access/faulty area to the septic tank when Noah fell in - leaving the ground/area looking undisturbed afterwards which gave no indication that LE should check the septic tank.
2. LE just didn't take the septic tank into consideration.
3. The top/cover was placed back on after Noah was placed in it - therefore LE thought that there is no way Noah could access the septic tank and be in it.

Also, we've learned that a balloon release will be held in Noah's honor tomorrow at noon in Dublin. http://bit.ly/1CtakEK #NoahThomas

"Leave the child's play to children and let adults be the adults." Officials want rumors to stop in #NoahThomas case
The tank is 6 inches deep so whether he crawled in or was placed in there, he would have to be laying face down or on his back. I highly doubt the child would be capable of putting the lid back on from this position. Unless the lid was off since before he was missing. As bad as the smell is though, wouldn't the smell be a deterrent even for a five year old?More information regarding the type of septic tank involved:

That is where the tent was over the tank, where the white pipe is sticking out behind the house she rented? They were also digging between the house she lived in and the house at the driveway where police parked. There was a big orange cone where they had been digging, also. https://twitter.com/WDBJ7/status/581164025289056256/photo/1 That would be where your cousin rented, the white house, and the trailer is back behind the white house. http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...laski-22-March-2015-2&p=11630431#post11630431
