They are not the only agency involved. The General Assignment Section is also involved, because that is the phone number listed on the missing posters.

I know it looks really bad, but I'd rather LE pull in the Creme la Creme as WH calls it, than have her case be in the hands of a detective who works runaways or unclassified missing persons cases.

I see that the General Assignment Section is part of the detective division, but I have no idea what they do.
 
well, it is suppose to be really nice here tomorrow...I'm feeling I need to get some exercise....
 
I'm sure there are multiple detectives from different units (homicide, SCU, GA) working this case.

I believe they will use this date as an "official" one since the family allegedly heard from her via text. They can always revise it once & if their investigation proves otherwise.
 
:great: We have a game plan now!!! Let's get AJ on any forum, facebook page, twitter, etc.!! Vacation time is up, and the weather is warmer and people are going to be out and about!!! Let's flood everywhere with AJ's fliers, even if we aren't in the area, we can help on SM!!

So, let's get a list of area business, and see if they have a FB, or twitter, and send them the flyer. Marinas, camping places, anywhere we can think of, and who knows who might see it that knows something!!!

What's the name of that group that people sign up for, and it sends an alert to all your friends or contacts through SM? You sign up early, and then on a particular day it mass sends to everyone at the same time! We should do this!!!

Ya but we don't even no if there was an actual video either. He said NPD showed it to them on their cell phone. Is that even possible?

I think i'm going CRAZY over the lack of info

We don't even know that LE hammered WH about having sexual designs on AJ. HE'S the one who told us that. LE may very well have another theory as to why WH might have caused her harm or put her in harm's way. He lies so indiscriminately...and none of it makes sense when you put it all together. That's why it's hard for me to tell what "could" be true in what he says...because absolutely NONE of it may be true!

I know I talk about Jessica Ridgeway's case so much, in almost every case and thread; I learned sooo much from her case, and it was what brought me here to WS...

I remember in her case, when LE was appealing to the public about her disappearance, they mentioned that someone might have been in the area "for work". So, the Franklin thing is indeed interesting and would like to be where I focus my latest efforts map-wise.
