If my son had anything to do with this girl's death in any kind of a way--even something small--then whatever the justice system deals him, what hand they deal him probably isn't going to be painful enough. I'm not going to love my son any less if something comes out that I can't face, but he needs to take his medicine.

Watsons girlfriend is charged with hiding evidence in the Dean case, specifically a hoodie Watson told her about during a recorded jail visit. The hoodie was one he told Fisk he was wearing the day of Dean's death, according to court records related to her arrest.

AUSTIN (KXAN) On Friday, The Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas filed an appeal on behalf of VonTrey Clark for his dismissal from the Austin Police Department.

A memo from CLEAT asserts that Clark did not commit acts of misconduct as charged. Clark was fired in July for being absent without leave after leaving the country to Indonesia.

Clark still has not been charged and he's still not back in the USA yet, best I can tell.

A Texas policeman arrested in Bali over alleged links to the murder of his pregnant girlfriend is being flown back to the US, it has been revealed.
Former Austin cop VonTrey Clark was detained on the Indonesian island in July after Interpol, acting on a request from the FBI, issued a notice for his arrest.
Court documents suggest the 32-year-old is the subject of an investigation into possible involvement in the death of police counsellor Samantha Dean, of Kyle, Texas.

VonTrey Jamal Clark was deported Wednesday through Ngurah Rai airport in Denpasar, the provincial capital of Bali resort island.

A government jet carrying Clark touched down at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at 11:45 p.m., and within a few minutes was parked at a nearby private terminal mostly out of the sight of media cameras.

A small law enforcement presence was at the terminal for Clark’s arrival. About 30 minutes after the plane touched down, a small convoy of both marked and unmarked police cars left the facility, heading toward Bastrop.

The Bastrop County Sheriffs Office says they cant talk about Clarks return but they do have a news conference scheduled on Thursday afternoon. The FBI confirms they will be in attendance at the briefing as well.

AUSTIN (KXAN) A federal judge has dismissed one of the charges against former Austin police officer VonTrey Clark.
The U.S. Attorneys Office says Judge Mark Lane dismissed the charge of unlawful flight, which was filed after Clark left the U.S. in July, since the state of Texas is continuing their capital murder case against him.
Clark is accused of plotting to kill Samantha Dean, who was carrying his child, back in February.
Clark is being held in the Bastrop County Jail without bond.

Bastrop County records show the Grand Jury indicted Clark on Oct. 21. According to the indictment paperwork, Clark caused the death of Dean by shooting Samantha Dean with a firearm, and intentionally or knowingly caused the death of another individual, Madeline Dean.

The body of Samantha Dean was found behind a vacant building in February. Authorities say Dean was seven months pregnant, and that Clark shot her because he didn't want to pay child support.

Austin police fired Clark in mid-July for insubordination and neglect of duty. He was arrested in Indonesia at the end of July and extradited to the U.S. last month.
