Judge says jury is hearing evidence of other alleged crimes but they can't use that to find #Millard or #Smich guilty of murder

Alex Pierson ‏@AlexpiersonAMP 1m1 minute ago
Judge telling jury the alleged thefts they are hearing about are irrelevant in this case to the accused mens murder charges. @AM900CHML

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 1m1 minute ago
He stresses they can't use this evidence to conclude/infer whether he committed this murder. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 1m1 minute ago
Back on. Judge telling jury evidence about alleged criminal activity (theft, drugs etc.) cannot be used for murder verdict.

AM works in the construction trade. Wonder what this will do for his credibility on the job site. It sounds like a lot of this was just for the sake of taking something because they could.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 12s12 seconds ago
Matt's father hired lawyer. Says police were "suspicious" of his involvement with #Bosma case. Says he was only truthful in final statement.

That's so annoying. I am in the area too and had thefts at 3 diff times - a $200 metal lawn sign, & solar lights. I know a family kids always have diff vehicles, wondering if they bought them from Millard--golf cart, dirt bikes, snow mobiles, atv's, and sometimes they put them up for sale themselves. They have black trailer too.

I wonder if any of the jurors live on rural properties and have had stuff stolen from them? ;)

Yep, this struck me too. The junk seemed to accumulate, although I guess we don't know how much of it DM 'flipped' versus the stuff he kept around for no discernable reason.

It must have galled the hell out of him to have to actually pay for the incinerator.

A "grab" or a "get" is a drug purchase, IMO.
Apr 6 2016 3:05 PMText from Millard: "Need a lookout on a walkie talkie tonight. 10pm-3am. $50 or credit towards future grabs. Interested?"

maybe credit for future thefts? things he steals for them?
