Hi y'all!

My apologies for making a post with so many quotes--I'm just getting caught up.

I've been trying to do that for days. Teach me your ways!! ;) It does look like a "c" to me too. THANK YOU!!!

texasgirl2 it's nothing special BUT it is free. :) It's called Pixlr and I just cropped it and used the Atomic filter called Infrared. Sorry for the late reply but I am just signing back online and wow the thread has really moved.

I think my last post got deleted.....or I didn't post it correctly. This is the cod that I was told from the beginning of this case. It was so hard to just read everyone's thoughts and comments without stating what I knew. Now that we know she was wounded with punctures or stab wounds, I feel like this person had a lot of rage against her and that's why I've stated that I, friends, family and some of the long time locals I've spoken to don't feel scared or afraid. We feel sad that this has happened but don't feel like we have a serial killer on the loose. And I'll state again as I've stated before, I do not believe the camper that found MB or any of the campers were involved.

Sending you and you mother (who friends with that camper) big hugs. And also to that camper and the others that were with and found MB. I don't believe the first camper did it either. It would be 1 thing if there were not video of a Suspect walking around tearing up stuff with a hammer. How would the Camper know this? And def not enough time to come out, get out of that Swat get up and be all ready to go in with others to work out. Also we, the PUBLIC, have no idea what time the others arrived. Heck it could have been 1,2 5, 10 min after camper 1 arrived. No I just don't see it validated, with info I see right now.of the first camper being the suspect JMHO

The perp used "tools from the church" that produced puncture wounds. IMO Knives from the kitchen were used and left behind.

I wonder if the SWAT gear was left behind, as well.

I'm trying to find early on where they said they had camera footage of the perp in the kitchen, but at least initially LE said that they had footage inside the kitchen

Oh, I never heard where they had footage in the kitchen. Thanks if you come across the link please post.

Yes, exactly! I was thrown off with the released cod as blunt head trauma because I had been told she had been stabbed/puncture wounds. I don't believe I've been told or heard that she was shot....and I feel like that's why the poi was in the kitchen looking around for a tool or knife and that might have been used as one of the weapons?!

Someone definitely said in the last thread or one before, that they had heard she'd been shot in the eye and attacked with a screwdriver and hammer. I can't remember who though, will look it up when I get a minute, not that it matters...

Surely though, burglar or killer would come better equipped than having to to hunt about in kitchen drawers for a weapon? In fact, he/she must have had something with them in order to break in?

My latest theory - subject to change is hitman, so to him it's his job. I don't know who hired him or why, and that is the person that actually bothers me much more and has traits from that list.

I tend to agree with you, Sandy.

From the Search Warrant:

"The subject is seen walking throughout the building holding a hammer, breaking windows and going
through offices.

At approximately 0418 hours, the victimTerri Bevers is observed entering the building
through the main door under the awning area. The video shows Terri Bevers walking
toward where the suspects location. Neither the suspect nor victim, were seen again on
video.Thevictim was later found deceased at the southwest comer of the interior of the
building."

So wherever the office is, double Dutch doors or not, he went through the "offices" - staging robbery.
I think he means that Missy was found in the SW corner of the"interior" meaning the sanctuary/auditorium room because the suspect is not seen again activating motion detectors in hallway, rather than the absolute corner of the whole building. Obvious typos and scratch outs rather than completely perfect warrant, seems reasonable.

bbm

Or looking for the security camera recording unit.

I think if you stage a robbery, then you actually take a few things. Or at least pile them up.

Yea, I wondered about that too, and it's possible. I kind of doubt it though, only because the punctuation makes it looks like he copies and pastes specific passages from the YouVersion bible app. I have that same app and set it up a long time ago to have their Verse of the Day text to me every day and they're not the same at all. The significance of his verse selections is debatable, and I could be reading more into it than is there.

On a side note, it might be worth mentioning that the verse YouVersion sent me on Monday was Proverbs 17:28 'Even fools seem to be wise if they keep quiet; if they don't speak, they appear to understand.'

Yeah, that's true about the punctuation. Good point!

Yes, I use YouVersion as well so I probably should have checked to see what the Verse of the Day was before I mentioned it. However, it's still possible that he's on a bible study plan that has different scriptures each day. I guess it really doesn't matter to me because I have never believed that Brandon was involved in this. The only thing that BB's posted scripture tells me is that he is trying to hold his tongue more--which I realize we didn't see yesterday when he responded to the FB post on MPD's page.

I still believe that BB is not sure what to say and is starting to realize that no matter what he says--his words will be torn apart. He seems to be getting more angry about what has happened, maybe it's sinking in that Missy is gone, so I'm sure that he is having a hard time staying silent. I'm sure having the search warrant information come out yesterday wasn't easy for him. He probably already knew but now he has to see the sadness in everyone else's eyes that now knows a little more about what happened that morning. I see his scripture sharing as only a part of that....trying to say as much as he can through scripture without coming out and saying what he's really thinking.

Sorry, I just don't see BB (or RB) involved in this in any way. To me, they are only a family grieving. I don't think anyone can say what that's supposed to look like. Grief isn't pretty!

BTW, my verse today is Proverbs 3:5: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding." :)

MOO.

I have to say, I'm starting to like Brandon. I am wondering if he has a specific person in mind as the suspect.

i agree with another WSer who wrote that BB might be more comfortable using scripture to convey his feelings. I feel like we are seeing a little more fire out of BB lately, which is good.

He might have selected this verse because some people have said he wasn't acting "Christian" enough, and this was his response.

Just my speculation.

BBM: I think so too! I wondered if the reality isn't starting to set in for their family. After someone passes, there are arrangements to make, people everywhere, & you're so busy taking care of things that when everyone goes home and the memorials are over--the reality of life without your loved one is all you have left.

My heart hurts for him & Missy's girls. Again, MOO.

GOOD MORNING ONE AND ALL,

Sorry, didn't mean to show.

I will be starting a new thread, thread number 9 in the next few minutes.

OT, Just wanted to add that here on long island you pay by mg!!!! My daughter BFs father suffers from chronic pain and he gets 30 mg pills and everyone keeps telling him to sell because he gets 60 at a time. Expensive habit opiates are.

Because of an experience I had many years ago, I wonder if steroids might be involved rather than pain medication. I had the misfortune to have horrid skin allergies & went to an allergy specialist.
It turns out that he was a quack of the highest order. He gave me massive amounts of steroids & before I knew it, I was just flat out mad at the world & very aggressive. There was absolutely no reason for me to have those feelings. My logical self took me back to my primary care doctor who took me off the steroids & I soon became normal. Missy's killer was so brutal that I suspect they were just burning with a hate filled rage. Steroids can do that to someone.

Hi Mom, I can't find in the docs where it's stated "tools from the church" only that suspect was seen carrying tools throughout the church consistent with her wounds. I keep reading this darned warrant over and over. Am I missing a portion? Thanks!

My husband almost lost his arm and getting pain meds filled from the number one trauma center in the world is difficult. One Pharmacy would not fill them because they were from a different county...an hour away and again the number one hospital. The DEA has changed their regulations and they really limit it even when it's legit.

Which would make people more desperate, right? I hear that is why so many people are turning to heroin---they can no longer get prescription opioids.

I witnessed and helped with a traumatic incident at the end of Feb and I picture things in my mind about it every day. The outcome was actually fairly positive. So I know the friends that found Missy must be very traumatized. Please encourage them to do some therapy to talk about it with someone, if you know them well enough.

Oh, I never heard where they had footage in the kitchen. Thanks if you come across the link please post.

I can't find it, but early on there was discussion on WS about hoping that LE would release footage in the kitchen since there was talk about what the suspect was doing in the kitchen as the impression given at the time was that LE had it on tape.

I agree--but I also think that his angry is also partly that they have not arrested the perp. I would be angry if after 2 weeks, justice for my loved one was served. I can't imagine what people go thru when something like this happens and the perp is not caught right away.

Which would make people more desperate, right? I hear that is why so many people are turning to heroin---they can no longer get prescription opioids.

The regulations basically just drove the price of opiates up; so they're mainly harder to get because of the price, not because of the regulations themselves. Heroin is cheaper so that's why it's being used more.

I think the comment about drug retaliation was a good thought, but I am not getting a drug vibe from this case. I think it will boil down to pride in the end. Someone's pride was hurt somehow and it just wasn't acceptable to the perpetrator. I mentioned once before that I think it's possible the killer acted on behalf of someone without that person having any idea about it...I still think that's possible.

In this case, in Texas all one has to do is drive to Mexico, go to a pharmacy & purchase any kind of drugs you want at really good prices. You tell the pharmacist what kind of drugs you want, he writes the prescription, gives you the meds & off you go. With all the drug wars going on you couldn't pay me enough to make a trip to Mexico at this time. If someone were desperate enough they would probably take a chance on it.

My mother in law does this regularly with no fear at all. I keep hoping one time she won't return. [emoji849]
