All good points IMO . N is desperate to keep him in the news and they obviously have very little to go on. She just wants him back.I'm going to go out on a limb here and put forward an awol theory.
So, Corrie has left of his own accord, why would he do this? There's a suggestion he is struggling with raf marham mentions and having a dog in blocked which has been overlooked (imo)
The family know he's a vunerable person, that there's reason for him to want to leave. Perhaps escaping debt or a family issue.
So, Nicola knows it's a high probability, what's her next move? I can certainly tell you what I would do as a mother.
I would present Corrie as a happy carefree person, winging it and happy to take risks such as get into a strangers car. I would push the abduction third party theory. Why? Because an adult person who has expressed signs of wanting to leave his life is not a high priority. By pushing a criminal angle there is priority, resources and police help to locate him.
Now, how do you keep his case in the public eye and increase momentum and pressure so the police continue searching even with no third party involvement? You build a rapport with the public based on social media. You claim transparency by providing updates and information.
Except there is no solid information, he's awol remember? So out comes the irrelevant information, attempted car burning, raf marham abduction attempt links, efits and pizza workers (awful to do publicly imo) each talking point brings more exposure and furore. This would explain why facts are so muddied, because they're irrelevant. If believed he left of his own accord why push the bin lorry?
This has achieved a huge impact in both supporters, donations and pressure on police to do more to find him.
This is not meant to be victim blaming or bashing, it's an honest opinion on what I would consider if I were in this situation. Because the alternative is to let corries case fade into oblivion with the only hope of locating him being family resources and family money, if he left the country who knows if they'd be able to find that search?
The only issue I see here is who helped him? And where did he go? He must have some loyal friend/s or partner to assist him.
I meant somebody else DC - I meant TW, if u follow...... ( GT is female)
I see now why only MSM is allowed, but even then, even that keeps changing as Nicola keeps changing many details. As @Northern Light said, initially there was "No way" he could have left the horseshoe unless in car.
Nicola said Corrie wasn't planning on going out, hence the confusion on people thinking he was in the other car.
I am pretty sure the Look East item, where they went round the bars, said he had caught up with his friends.
I think that the family have maintained in all of the examples that he could not have left the 'horseshoe area' which included the local vicinity. This was then clarified as to which area precisely it concerned. I don't think anything has changed here- he still could not leave the area on foot without being seen by one of the cameras. I can definitely see how what has been said could be misleading though.
After my initial shock reading your thoughts, some good points as a strategy. It could explain the muddle I raised in my last post. London is not that far away and he may have discussed the option with one person and he could have been secretly wishing a different life for some time. If he is impulsive would he just go. JMOI'm going to go out on a limb here and put forward an awol theory.

Well done! Now why didn't LE or all those experienced people think of that?Could have saved a lot of time and money IMO. Let us know about the GPS? Who needs the updates anyway?I just put my phone in the filing cabinet at work- I work in an office that is built inside an industial unit that is made of steel beams etc, the filing cabinet is quite thick but it rang no problems! To be fair it has a very strong signal as the mast is only 1/2 a mile away.
going to repeat with find my phone app for gps and see if i can send the make my phone ring signal. - yep its found it and ringing ok.
I know not very scientific but I am conviced the bin lorry would have no effect on the phones gps or cell tower connection.
But why would Nicola waste her breath saying every single room in the horseshoe had been forensically searched from top to bottom, back to front by forensics and cadaver dogs? Thats a pretty hefty statement to make if it isn't true, and she doesn't strike me as someone who would say that if it wasn't true, considering she has no issue with having the police look incompetent (and rightly so), to then go on and say it hasn't even been forensically searched, and not only that, but only a few of the buildings in the horseshoe have been "looked at".
Just........ Grr! x
I notice that Holly Willoughby wasn't presenting 'This Morning' as the usual co-presenter. Davina McCall was with Philip Schofield, I wonder if N took time to speak with Davina about Focus 12, Davina is a Patron of the charity.

Edit. Ok thanks you did.

IMO the inside of the horseshoe buildings have not been searched. Some maybe, if tenants allowed it. LE said they leafleted properties they could not access. That is not a forensic interior search IMO but is just delivering a leaflet. Where is the LE link stating all HS buildings have been searched inside, forensically or otherwise? The area known as the Horseshoe is the area by the bins, I believe that has all been forensically searched. The area that hasn't been fully searched is across the otherside of the turning circle.
