CANADA Canada - Cory Lanteigne, 34, Kawartha Lakes, Ont, 8 Dec 2016

34 year-old Lanteigne is described as male white, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 165 lbs. He has brown hair that is shaved very close to his head and is unshaven. Cory was last seen wearing grey cotton casual pants, black Nike running shoes, a black canvass jacket and a grey shirt. Cory has been known to hitchhike in the past and was last seen walking in the area of O’Reilly lane and has not been heard from since disappearing shortly after 4:00pm on Thursday December 8[SUP]th[/SUP], 2016. Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating Cory as they have concerns for his safety.

So this was not Cory. There seems to be quite a few missing men around this area recently. The man above had been missing since December 2016 and I had not even heard about it. I wonder why the stories and pictures of missing adults are not newsworthy stories?

When he first disappeared, the City of Kawartha Lakes Police, with help from the Kawartha Lakes OPP, the OPP Central Region emergency response team, police dog teams and an OPP helicopter searched the area of O'Reilly Lane but could not find him — and police still cannot find him.

Cory Lanteigne went missing at 4 p.m. on Dec. 8, 2016, when he was last seen leaving family members home on O'Reilly Lane.

He has been known to hitchhike in the past, but police do not suspect any foul play in his disappearance.
