Okay this is the first time trying to post a link and a quote from the article so if I'm doing something wrong please let me. know.

This article gives a little more about who reported Ms. Loveless missing but doesn't say if she was walking or in a vehicle. Doesn't say if she left going to a particular place, if she was upset, if the roommate is a friend or a love interest. Did she have medical condition? So much is unknown. Sure hope she comes home soon.

The Public Works Department was working in a wooded area off Gamble Drive in Lincolnton Wednesday when they came across skeletal remains.

Just as a precaution, Lincolnton Police are treating the scene like a homicide, though investigators say it does not appear foul play is involved.

Police say it appears the remains have been there about two years.

Investigators have identified a body found in a wooded area in Lincoln County Wednesday as a woman reported missing in 2015.

Patricia Linn Loveless was reported missing by a friend in March 2015. Police said she was known to "routinely walked down East Main Street and North General’s Blvd frequenting businesses in these areas."

Loveless' body, which police said Wednesday had likely been there for years, was found in an isolated area near Hollice Henderson Road around 11 a.m. A public works crew working on a sewer line made the discovery.
