Looking at the photos....really touches my heart how many bystanders are staying around to comfort/help the victims. That alone is an act of bravery as well as an act of kindness. Londoners are strong.

I am caught up with the thread - WS does a great job with breaking stories. For anyone who has followed this from the start or who has a grasp of the sequence of events, care to do a quick rundown?

There was a knife attack on an officer. Gun shots to the attacker. Right?

What about the bridge? An SUV plowed into a crowd? Was the driver the same person as the knife attacker or were there two different attacks going on at the same time?

1 attacker.
He drove the vehicle (SUV/4x4) over Westminster Bridge injuring many, some injuries described as 'catastrophic'. He also hit 3 police officers walking back from a commemoration ceremony.

Just over the bridge he crashed the vehicle into fencing to the side of the park (this is right in front of Big Ben)

He abandoned the vehicle and ran into the park, which is guarded by unarmed police officers. In an attempt to access parliament

This is where he stabbed the police officer and was shot by other armed officers

Last i have read he was in jail in hungary, he could have been released. Idk

Thank you it means a lot to all of us I'm sure. I'm so sick of the senseless murder that achieves nothing but misery in all countries.
