Completely agree.

They are chameleons from every walk of life. In disguise, and evil running through their veins.

I can't make this quote the post this reply was referencing (a California trooper murdering a young woman) but, I just watched one of those episodes on ID of Who killed Jane Doe involving the case .Im linking below. it's just unbelievable that sometimes it happens from within. This particular LE officer worked the case every day with them, knowing that he was the one who killed her. I'm not saying this is the case in Delphi of course, very unlikely to be.. and it would be more likely that someone was impersonating an officer if anything at all

Two months later, the flyers are everywhere – in the windows of restaurants, stores and gas stations – not just in Delphi and throughout Carroll County, but also in neighboring counties, other counties throughout the state and even in other states, where people have put them up while hoping to help solve the slayings of Abigail Williams and Liberty German.

I can't believe that as disturbed and sickened as LE was in the initial phase of the investigation, that they would "scale back" unless they had some idea of who did this. Why no arrest yet? No idea. But I remain optimistic...

LE has also stated that the number of tips have come down to a manageable number, I believe. So that could be one of the reasons they have sort of "scaled back." JMO

Notice the CHP ignored red flags about his behavior because of his reputation. I'm sure they've revamped procedures for handling similar complaints against their officers, but it's too late for Cara Knott.

In addition, there had been complaints about him prior to the murder by several women but were dismissed because of his reputation within the department.

I know the town where we live, although small, is a city right on the highways between Detroit and Chicago. Because of this, we sometimes see higher crime rates as drugs etc are trafficked between the two. There have even been FBI reports of people here being on their Most Wanted List due to gang involvement in one of the two cities.

Is Delphi an in-between city too?

We are between Indy and Chicago, mid point on 65 would be lafayette area. Lafayette - which is now growing in population from people coming from both bigger cities - is a 15 minute drive from

Also kokomo is close.

Indiana is known as a drive through state for all the other surrounding states. We have tons of interstates going in every direction.

OK so this blue jacket on BG has been really bothering me for weeks!!!! I sew a lot and so the front closure has just not made sense to me. I've looked at hunting, military, work, rain...every type of jacket and I finally figured it out!

IMO it is a conceal and carry jacket

Watch the video on how these work!! they can have a closure that allows access to the gun and they are ambidextrous !!!!

If LE can just trace this jacket!!! It's probably slightly older.

Can I post a poll????

Do you think BG abducted the girls from the south end of the bridge then headed north down the hill and took them across the creek or instead, across the bridge on the north side and then took them across the side of the hill and then south to the girls' eventually resting place on that side of the river all along?

Again, it might be a mental block of mine, but I just don't think it is logical that BG would cross that creek with them.

Your thoughts?

Two months later and LE still does not know if it was one person or multiple that were involved? If they have as much audio/video as they have made it seem, then why cant they determine if BG acted alone? If they do not have enough evidence to determine how many people were involved how in the world do they have enough evidence to arrest someone and charge them?

Also BG is a mystery to me..... first he is just someone they want to talk to... then he is a suspect then he is their main suspect and focus. LE has stated numerous times that they can not confirm the voice in the audio is from BG. HOW do they know BG was even involved? They have never given any reason as to why this person became the main suspect overnight. If they have more video then why have then not released a better image, they have had two months and the top people in our country at their disposal to get a better picture of their main suspect out to the public so we could identify him? That picture has been a sore spot on me since it was released.

You need to remember two things. First, anything LE says to the public, they are acutely aware they are saying to the suspect as well. Second, LE can and almost always do, LIE when it helps their investigation. So, saying that BG is just someone they want to talk to - well that was a lie at the time- they were hoping to get BG to identify himself as an uninvolved witness. When that didn't work, they then called him a suspect in the hope that someone would turn him in. LE lies all the time

They definitely seemed to grow more certain and more definitively name him a suspect over time.

Across the creek at the SE end. It's the shortest route to the crime scene and most likely isolated place to avoid hikers, IMO.

Jethro, in your opinion is that creek span directly across from the crime scene shallow enough to be a good place to cross on Feb 13?

I don't even know what I think about the way the crime developed. It doesn't make sense to me that BG would plan to cross the creek. It isn't that deep in spots, but it must have been cold (there was snow on the ground just days before).

But, I've leaned team south because crossing the bridge back to the northwest doesn't make sense either.

Really looking forward to most of our questions being answered, IF bridge guy is ever identified and goes to trial.

I'm starting to wonder if BG even did it. Maybe that's not his voice saying 'go down the hill'.... And of course now after all this time, he definitely wouldn't come forward.

I know LE is working hard behind the scenes. I know the families have to be thankful for all of their hard work. However, LE's language and choice of words recently leaves me a bit disheartened.

I understand they lie, but if they can connect him to the crime then why cant we get a better picture? If they can connect him to the crime then why cant they confirm how many people were involved? If this goes from a single person into a group that would totally change everything we have talked about on this thread. Their goes the SK theory. There goes RL having some drunken rage episode. The LE have more information that would help the public identify this person. We dont need to know what happened to the girls to identify this man.... we just need a better picture and it would help to know if this person acted alone or was part of a group.

Yes he took them down the slope on the south side.

He couldn't risk them all walking back across the bridge and being seen or one of them getting away at that junction.

Imo

I understand why people are frustrated with the lack of relevant information being released by LE, but no one has ever addressed an opinion on why they think LE is not releasing more if they have no viable suspect. I'd be curious to hear that. TIA

I have not seen this video before.

Some of it appears to have been shot from within the crime scene itself.

About 20 seconds in you can see a tree which looks to have a section scraped out around the circumference of the trunk. I am wondering if that was done for some kind of forensic purpose.

Across the creek you can see a tree limb laying on its side in the upper right. It may be the same limb which is in Vanwyk's twitter photo.

That looks fresh around the tree. Maybe FBI crime techs collected evidence from it.

If only the time the audio of "down the hill" was recorded. Jmo

IDK seems it would be risky to go back across the bridge, seeing/knowing LE was on the private driveway that travels under the bridge leads me to believe that they went that way. Jmo

I am still on the fence as to whether they were told which way to go or were demanded which way to go with the "down the hill". Jmo

I do think they crossed the creek. Jmo
