...but dang, DRT, i was excited by the thought this deceased male might be incorporated with JC's disappearance - perhaps a clue where there are few to none - and i'm not yet convinced it isn't related, so i will merely extend the window of opportunity to 13th july1988 which is still within 3weeks post-Parmelia function.
police "sudden death squad" attended the discovery of the deceased male found in the vicinity of cottesloe's smaller southern groyne.
what exactly is "sudden death" ...?
it is ANY type of unanticipated death; death occurring unexpectedly ...and includes:
• suicide
• road crash or other transport disaster
• drowning, falling, fire or other tragedy
• undiagnosed advanced terminal illness, such as advanced cancer
• sudden natural causes, such as heart attack, brain hemorrhage, or cot death
• sudden death from a serious illness that was known about, but where death wasn't expected, for example epilepsy
• murder
• war or terrorism ( suddendeath.org )
iMO, the fact HE was found FACE DOWN in the rocks, "NAKED", in the MiDDLE of WiNTER, virtually on the doorstep of what turned out to be a major crime - i would rule out most of the above given causes for "sudden death" ...with the exception of murder (and/or a possible transport disaster?)
...there has been much previous discussion of the physics of mass/velocity required to enable both the FiAT'S launch into the ocean and the damage it sustained.
there has also been mention RE the possibility of the FiAT having been stored/concealed prior to its disposal ... (locally?)
we also have the report of a woman, possibly Julie, calling the paper asking to be left alone (on 27th june, one week after her last recorded sighting) ... she may well have been abducted AND held hostage for a period.
could the deceased male have been a witness to events? a neighbour, a landlord? someone who knew too much?
a person known to Julie? a foiled rescuer?
or perhaps someone known to her abductor? an accomplice turned risk factor?
