Also, I was looking again at the shows. Do you guys think we are looking at the top of the left foot, or the bottom sole?

Right:

I've always thought it could be something similar to this "Lighter Leash".

If Libby was off the end of the bridge, as some surmise, and perhaps crouched down either in fear, defense, or to keep her phone/cam hidden, might not this be the SOLE of his left foot??

That is too hard to think about, for me.

Thought about this when you posted way back when. I think it's the top because I've been watching people walk (yes me nuts again) and I don't see them lift their foot up so high that I can make out the bottom of the shoe. JMO
OT never realized how many people walk with their feet pointing outwards. Just an observation :fence:
I think the top of both feet. The right foot appears to have white laces tied around ankle and the left one appears to show the laces on the top of the boot as the ankle is not visible due to the raised leg . JMO.

BGs jeans are too long for his height. That is the reason the jeans bunches up in the legs. His legs are shorter than the length of the jeans. Typically the guys would snip the seam to allow the pants leg to follow the shape of the footwear. It appears the jeans may have been recently purchased specifically for the purpose of others knowing that he typically wears faded jeans or a slim fit style jeans. I dare to guess that BG typically wears hip huggers or jeans lower in the waist than the pair he is seen wearing in the images. A new pair of jeans would not contain turkey feathers, dog hairs, or gun powder residue, for instance. BG had a purpose for everything. I also agree that the articles of clothing worn by BG hit the bonfire asap.

Not everyone shops at Walmart so I cannot be sure of understanding the comparison. It is not your fault but that of my own.

DeDee, thank you for your responses to my posts. I love constructive feed-back, especially if I can take something away from it and apply it somehow. I loved your reasoning as to why BG's jeans would be new (lack of personal lifestyle residues). Wow, that just makes so much sense.

Just two things that I would like to clarify:

1) My own observation (and this is just mine from when I lived in the South in a small town) was that most guys I saw didn't do anything about jeans that are too long. They just let them bunch up. In fact, I believe that it is/was somewhat an acceptable fashion, especially with the younger rural hunting guys.

So with that experience swirling in my head, I didn't give the length of his jeans a second thought. Your experience may be completely different which set off the warning bells for you (disguising who he really is as opposed to this is who he is).

2) My use of Walmart is a generic place description based on the many comments I have seen used all over the internet, i.e., "BG looks like a typical guy you would see in Walmart on any given day." Having lived in a very small town in Mississippi, Walmart was the only store in town. No, wait, I lie; there was the Piggly Wiggly and the feed store. :giggle:

LOL, obvioulsy not everyone shops in Walmart, but with the proliferation of them in just about everytown in America (spent time in Yuma, AZ, which is small and it has three - sheesh), I would guess that a large majority of Americans do at least set foot in one from time to time. So I think that generalization used across the internet just means that many see BG as the average guy they see everywhere. So that description resonated with me.

As impossible as it is for us to try to figure BG out, I take heart. LE has a so much more info and still hasn't arrested anyone, so whoever BG is, so far, he is one slippery slime-bag.

.
ETA: Sorry guys, back to sleuthing photos, this is the image thread after all. I didn't mean to bog down the thread with off-topic explanations.

I'm basing my guess on the gif that nin made, which shows BG following through on a forward step. Based on his motion and body movement, I can't see how it could be anything but the top of his foot. Take a look at the gif and see what you think and watch his knees as reference.

EDIT: Here's nin's gif of just frames 2 and 3 from an earlier posting. This is where I see his left knee moving forward, which makes me think we're seeing the top of his foot. Just my guess.

Yes, your observation seems correct based on these two pics in motion ... Confusing! In the still photo close up it looked very much like a sole to me.

There is no doubt in my mind that BG is highly skilled at hunting and fishing. I am willing to accept a fishing vest being worn on the outside. However, I am convinced that BG also is wearing an armour-plated tactical vest. My mind cannot detach itself from this strong possibility until I hear the DA state otherwise to the jury. It is similar to not being able to see something that has been seen.

Thank you for your abundant and outstanding work on the images as I am also a visualist. A wise sleuth once told me that it didn't happen if there is not a picture to prove it.
Why would you need armor plating in Delphi, Indiana??? Lol

Maybe cos there's a nutter on the loose? And we're discussing the images and what we see? LE had body armour when they escorted RL to court. IIRC.

Eta. There is also a possibility people may shoot themselves or others when cleaning their own guns, so better safe than sorry.

LE had Kevlar vests....they were not wearing armor plates in their vests. There is a big difference.

I guess I am out of luck the next time I clean my .50 BMG.

Here are more perp shoes for refinement:

Yes, I never noticed until nin made the gif. I find the single frame very confusing!

Maybe if you're a pubescent Jr high girl. Or sheriff. Or mentally ill.

I was reading that there is scheduled work to be done to fix up the bridge.

I wonder if LE (I'm sure they have) has looked at any consultants that came from out of town to help figure out what needs to be done and the cost to repair the bridge?

This is from Nin's .gif

I'm wondering if the fanny pack has some type of logo. I'm seeing a train at the top~~coming from right to left with windows.

Nin~~any chance you can do your magic with that area of your .gif??

That's too small of a detail to further enlarge BCA. It could also be an artifact IMO. -Nin
