Not to mention, traveling by air, which he supposedly did. TSA requires a photo ID.

Many things are not adding up, here.

IMHO

Very good points about the license photos! Drivers licences photos, even if expired, would be available for the press to capture, I would think.

Weird.

Marilou has a beautiful, successful daughter who lives in CA. She is an artist. She is probably devastated about this.Makes me less suspicious of her mother.jmo

I feel terrible about all of the suspicion thrown her way. The police have stated over and over that she is no longer a person of interest (He had been using her card when he checked in the hotel ) and that is more than enough for me. She is likely in shock and in mourning and indirectly a victim of this atrocity as well.

Have any of his teachers or childhood friends come forward?

I'm reserving judgment about her 'til I hear what she has to say........she must be able to help clear up some of the mystery about him. jMO

As a side note, the device takes practice to get used to and my general impression is that some, or many ranges forbid using the devices as they can be a control issue. Thus, the shooter may have sought out a range where the devices can be used.

Or went somewhere secluded where he could shoot without being bothered...could explain the Alaska hunting and fishing license... but if that's the case, he'd been thinking about something like this for YEARS.

Hmm, maybe he was a prepper and planning for the apocalypse or something, thinking his stockpile of weapons would save him. Prepping for disasters is a legitimate thing that people do but some people take it way too far and get paranoid/go crazy.

Gun collectors can amass a lot of guns. I've known one, who has close 500. 47 seems like a lower number, an average avid collector, not an extreme RABID collection, especially considering this attack was in the West, where in some places almost everybody has at least one gun. Also Nevada is home to the world's largest munitions storage facilty . There may be more guns and ammunition found in his other properties in other states. What is compelling is his proficient use of fully automatic weapons. All of his guns were legit, legally obtained (at least that's what is now being said)

Also, I see this as an act of domestic terror. This man may have had no beliefs, no agenda, no point other than to create chaos and bring death. This man has terrorized our whole country, paralyzed many with fear. Why? Will we ever really know?

But my question/theory/possible M.O is, what if Paddock was an SK and this final act was just his last big "hunt"?

I searched the threads but didn't see where anyone had posted about the potential that Paddock is a serial killer, as well as a mass murderer?

Will we ever know or understand what just happened in Las Vegas?

I pray for the injured that they live, and for the families that lost their loved ones to this senseless violence against humanity.

Yes, and yes.

Gun collectors, yes, not uncommon. Yes, possible SK/or Psycho, finally spiraling out, and going out big.

We live in a state known for hunting and target shooting. We have several firearms. Some that have been passed down through the family, some we've purchased (legally). Almost everyone I know has at least one firearm.

OP on thread #1 mentioned something about him going big, airplanes, hunting, gambling, etc...

This guy has never been a "normal" guy. Normal people don't buy homes and give the keys to strangers and ask them to watch out for their home as they'll likely not be there.

When you go out hunting, the majority of time is spent scouting out your location, where's the best spot to set up your deer stand, or turkey blind, getting all of your gear together and making sure everything is cleaned and ready, so you can sit in the woods for a week and hope that you get a chance at your prey. Look at all of the things he's had to do to get set up to shoot at folks who were basically fish in a barrel. He didn't just pick that at the spur of the moment. It's said he enjoyed country music, went to concerts, went to casinos, asked for a certain suite of rooms, etc... All this time, was he also scoping out venues for his prey, and which hotel rooms were to be his deer stand? I think so.

Does anyone know the date of that post he made stating he loved his wife, children and grandchildren? I keep thinking about that. How can he say he loves them and then leave them all with this terrible mess? Think of the guilt, shame and torment they will have to deal with for years to come. I would not define that as love.

So far,he was just an antisocial kind of weird guy.......but it seems like SOMETHING was eating at him. No idea, just speculating, but could he have been being extorted? Was he involved in some criminal enterprise? Or was he a victim of one? JMO

YES! I have been wanting to comment on this from the beginning! One pic with eyes closed in a bar and one pic that looks 20 years old! I mean, this dude had a drivers license, a pilots license and won a car at a casino. All of those things have photos. Her photo looks like a drivers license photo. So, why isn't his shown?

Which brings me to my next subject. I think I saw back there somewhere that his drivers license may have been expired (sorry no link, too many articles). So, if so, how has he been renting rental cars? That is definitely a place that checks your license. So much is not adding up with this dude. So much!
ITA! But they should still have the photo on file from the last one he had, right?

Am I the only one who finds it odd that this man lived 64 years but there are only 3 pictures of him? We haven't even seen a driver's license picture. I can't help but feel that there's a lot we don't know and never will know about him.
Again, agree.

And wouldn't he need a photo ID for those extensive background checks?

Just read a NYTimes article on the web where Paddock's brother states his brother gambled and played video poker for a living, lived in hotel rooms and went on cruises. I know it was reported his career was that of an accountant. There is something very strange about his life as a retiree. I'm going to bank on card counting with someone else close to him.

There is so so much about this that doesn't make any sense. IMO

Four Canadians are now confirmed to have died in the Las Vegas shootings. Clockwise from top left: Jordan McIldoon, 23, of Maple Ridge, B.C., Jessica Klymchuk, 34, of Valleyview, Alta., Calla Medig, 28, of Jasper, Alta., and Tara Roe Smith, 34, of Okotoks, Alta. (Facebook/)
At least six other Canadians were injured in the attack.

Speaking ahead of the first ministers meeting in Ottawa Tuesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he spoke to U.S. President Donald Trump the day before to express condolences after the attack, "as well as expressing our direct condolences to the families of the Canadians lost in that attack, and the many people injured while they were on vacation."

Global Affairs has deployed a team of consular officials to Las Vegas to assist Canadians.

Agree, me too, Cady. From her older pics on FB, she was decked out in serious diamonds in several photos. Also had
pics of 'her' trips all over the world. My take was SP was a "sugar daddy" and her living life to the fullest was on his dime. Also how do you live with someone for three years and not notice things? She had to see he was 'off' in many ways.

I will be shocked to find out the allegedly Hispanic woman/women who were telling people they were going to die are actually connected. I feel this kind of behavior is common at large events, there's always that one weirdo, and it only becomes significant and ominous if something actually does happen. I could be waaaaaaaaaay off, but the fact that the woman was present at the event she claimed everyone was going to die at tells me she was likely talking in more... Biblical terms, like, we're all going to die because we're all sinners etc.

Like I said, I could be wrong, I'll just be quite surprised.

The Washington Post is keeping a running list of Misinformation, Fake News, And Viral Hoaxes that are being continuously spread and have occurred directly after the tragedy. The" You are all going to die" including the woman on video, is included in the misinformation and hoaxes.

You are not wrong  The woman "Brianna" was apparently an attention seeker, as unfortunately happens during times like these. I find it repugnant. In any event, he is a running list of viral hoaxes and misinformation about the Las Vegas Massacre via the Washington Post:

"You are all going to die"/ "Brianna" =Fake News

It appears that the people spreading this rumor are connecting the dots between the existence of Danley and a viral story from an early media interview with a witness.

In that interview, a woman identified as Brianna described a strange moment minutes before the shooting, where a woman and her boyfriend were kicked out of the concert by security after the woman warned some audience members that they were “all going to die,” or something to that effect.

If the account of this interaction was accurate, it would certainly be eerie. But Buzzfeed talked to the firm in charge of security at Sunday night’s concert, who said that nothing of the sort happened.

It appears that the people spreading this rumor are connecting the dots between the existence of Danley and a viral story from an early media interview with a witness.

Other Viral Hoaxes and Misinformation cited in the article include:

Fake Missing People

These people are not missing in Las Vegas after the shooting

The man pictured below is a *advertiser censored* star named Johnny Sins. The profile pic is of YouTuber TheReportofTheWeek, who was the victim of a similar viral hoax after the Manchester attacks.

Well meaning people retweeted the above along with other photos of the fake missing people that trolls tweeted in hopes of retweets.

Fake Shooters:

These are not the photos or names of the Las Vegas gunman

There’s a popular, right-wing meme that involves identifying Sam Hyde as the gunman in the immediate wake of a mass shooting. It happened after Las Vegas, too:

A second person falsely identified as the shooter has also gone viral on the far-right Internet: Geary Danley

Recent Convert to Islam: FALSE

The Israel National News, for a brief time, had a headline on their site claiming that authorities had identified the gunman as a recent convert to Islam.

Although their story has since been updated to note that police actually have “no knowledge” of shooting suspect Stephen Paddock’s religious beliefs, the meme has continued to spread.

This rumor got a second wind Monday when the Islamic State, through the Amaq News Agency, claimed responsibility for the Las Vegas shootings, and that Paddock had converted to Islam months ago. But there’s some important context to keep in mind about claims like this from the Islamic State. I’ll quote directly from our main news story on the shootings to explain:

The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack on Monday, reporting through its Amaq news agency that the shooter was one of its “soldiers” and had recently converted to Islam, according to the SITE Intelligence Group, which tracks extremist groups.

The group, also known as ISIS, often claims responsibility after attacks, even in cases where it is unclear whether they motivated them or were involved, and law enforcement officials on Monday disputed this claim.

“We have determined, to this point, no connection with an international terrorist group,” Aaron Rouse, the special agent in charge of the FBI in Las Vegas, said at a news briefing.

Paddock is Antifa: =False/Fake News

Gunman Stephen Paddock was not an ‘Antifa’ operative

Another rumor about Paddock — for whom authorities have not disclosed a motive — circulating on the far-right is that he had ties to “Antifa,” the umbrella term for anti-fascist activist organizations. It appears to stem from a now-deleted post on a troll Facebook account posing as a page for the “Melbourne Antifa,” claiming that Paddock was a member.

A few evidence-free tweets have gone viral while repeating this claim.

Meanwhile Infowars is simultaneously running with the Antifa and Islamic State stories, while suggesting that the whole attack might also be a false flag “scripted by deep state Democrats and their Islamic allies.”

Marilou Danley was not a suspect, and she did not warn concert-goers they were “all going to die” before the shooting This is also being conflated with Brittany, the woman on the local news which as has been debunked. See top of post.
Police said they were searching for a woman named Marilou Danley after the shooting, saying that they wanted to question her. But she was not described as a suspect — only a “traveling companion.” Public records indicate that Danley and Paddock lived at the same address.

Eventually, investigators said that they were able to locate and talk to Danley, and that they do not believe she was involved in the shooting. For one thing, she was found outside of the country, and was not with Paddock when he checked into the Mandalay Bay hotel, which also appears to debunk another viral tale that spread in the hours after the shooting:

This running list of misinformation and viral hoaxes spreading after the massacre will be updated as needed by The Washington Post.

2 private planes
4 homes (never spoke to neighbors much)
Drove RENTAL cars
Lived in hotels more than homes

He was up to something!
I WOULD NOT be surprised if he was also an undiscovered serial killer once his DNA comes back.

He grew up hiding a secret about who his dad really was, keeping secrets was second nature to him. IMO

I am curious about his IQ.
IMO he could easily have qualified to been a MENSA member. I've known a couple of men in it. ZERO ability or desire to conform to dressing normal. They too were sloppy. *I am not saying all MENSA members are sloppy. The 2 I know ARE.

Somehow he stayed off the radar, never planting roots in any place for long.
I too would like to know about how he did in school where he went to college etc...

Reportedly, he has NO children. I know that Marilou has a daughter who has children, but I don't know if she had other children. The daughter was born in Manila in 1975. Iives in CA. JMO

1. what’s the estimated space between his room and the venue...if someone can please give me that in the simplest terms.
It seems far in relation to bullet range but I know that is relative to the type of weapons.

2. Is the approximate SP shooting activity time line of 10:08 to 10:20pm given by LE remaining as accurate?

It does not.

I have fired fully automatic weapons in the military. One of my friends is also a fire arms enthusiast. He encouraged me to fire a weapon with such a device once- I had little interest in it, but to be polite, I accepted his offer. It basically doubled the rate of semi automatic fire (already pretty fast), but did not approach fully automatic rate.

As a side note, the device takes practice to get used to and my general impression is that some, or many ranges forbid using the devices as they can be a control issue. Thus, the shooter may have sought out a range where the devices can be used.

I think he probably had plenty of places to practice, he basically lived outside of a desert. It's like us, here, I've got a few acres of nothing, well trees, and some pasture. When I want to target practice, I just walk out my back door.
