It reallyhad been discussed on why he would marry her?. We had beat this to death earlier....I assume lines are still drawn. Some believe he loved her, some believe he married her to be a hero and help LE, some believe he married her to stay out of prison (me).

Has anyone changed their opinion? Did he marry her to get information on Haleigh? For those that think that, how's he doing so far?

I don't question any of that, it's just that it doesn't make sense to me that RC would presume that getting married would keep her at his side to be available for prying the answers from if it would be more convenient for Misty to lope off to Tennessee and keep quiet about whatever she knows. If living together didn't keep her from partying hard with others and lying about what happened to his daughter, why should marriage keep her from leaving or lying some more? Especially if he tells people that he's doing the marriage just to get information from her and gives Misty and her lawyer the chance to hear about it.

But it also doesn't make sense to me that he would tell TM this if he married her for love, and it doesn't make sense to me that TM would tell this if it wasn't true.

That would be great, I am just extremely leary of AH especially when it is just a comment not even an article and every other statement has had audio attached to it.

She was SERVED in person on October 5th and answered the petition on October 18th. That is in the records.

You cannot answer something you never received.

I think RC had doubts after the first few days, if you remember initially it was said that Misty was staying elsewhere and that things were tense between RC and Misty. Then the focus shifted really quickly to RC and abuse allegations and I think that is when he was given the advice to marry Misty by someone he felt was really trying to find Haleigh. I think he felt like this guy knows what he is talking about so I will do it so she doesnt take off, she gets comfortable and maybe she will spill somethings. I think it was a desperate attempt by him to get information. I then think LE dropped the ball in alot of ways by not investigating some things earlier, had everyone known about the stuff coming out now 7 months ago would things of been done differently? Phone records, everyone that was at Haleighs home that night should of been giving lie detector test right away. I do not believe for one minute Misty would cover for RC, I also do not believe she is afraid of him at all.

Sorry, I don't know what paperwork she was served, do you? and who served it? She has fought for those kids and wouldn't miss a court date...IMO

I do know the judge saw cause for the wrong address and acknowleged the error. If you read the paperwork you will see it written.

That is correct and it is even pointed out in the custody documents that she was served and answered so they had her address. I think Crystal was moving around a bit and by December she was no longer in Jacksonville. I would have to go back and look at the dates when her boyfriend was served papers at the Mudlake address but IIRC it was around Nov - so Crystal neglected to tell the courts she had moved from Jacksonville to Mud Lake.

Yep..because IMHO neither believe a word they say...which reminds me, I can't believe Geraldo cut TM off tonight..he was still talking and I would have loved to hear what else he had to say! Thing is too...Tim Miller and Mark NeJame came into this seemingly believing in Ron and Misty. Something sure changed their minds, making them WAY more outspoken against the two in this case compared to Caylee's.

Everyone who gets next to these people gets a bad taste in thier mouth. I could see it the day MN was on TV with TN. He was very uncomfortable and I thought it may be the last time he appears with her.

Is that advising someone JM?

If the marriage was to get information out of her it's just very puzzling to me that he would then refuse to schedule appointments with LE for himself, not call them and demand information about the investigation, and support his wife 100 % when she walks out of interrogations and clams up.

It doesn't seem to me that she was very much afraid either. She fairly glowed at the video of the engagement and in the wedding footage, and on other occasions she's seemed a bit cocky to me. There might be things that we don't see going on behind the scenes but personally I wouldn't marry a man who suspects that I hurt his daughter if I was very scared of him. Maybe she has some leverage of her own to make her think she can get him to do what she wants.

Fact it the judge made a permanent decision that day and didn't review any records and he base it on the fact that Crystal was not there. Fact is Crystal was not there because Ronald gave the court the wrong address. They mailed it to the same address he gave to the court in Aug/Sept.

Fact is the magistrate bought and made a decision on what RC said that day and researched nothing.

You are absolutely right! He knew he was not there protecting the innocent, with finding HaLeigh being priority #1 as he had thought he would be. IMO, he looked like he would have rather been anywhere but there. Who could blame him though?

The timing of the marriage speak volumes to me. Married in the middle of a kidnapping investigation that includes your own child? IMO, they married because they thought it would keep them from having to testify or tell on one another. To keep the secret behind what happened to Haleigh just between them two. They thought that everyone, esp. Misty, just needed to stick to their story. Unfortunately, Misty can't keep her story (script) straight.

In one of the interviews, every time Misty was asked a question she looked to Ron (like she was looking for the answer from him)! If he wasn't there at the time of the disappearance why is she looking at him for answers? I think Ron has told her what to say, IMHO.

IMO, if Misty does open her mouth and talk, we would all be suprised by what she reveals. I just got a feeling that if they never find Haleigh, there will be a break in the case when Misty and Ron break up or divorce. It all seems like a movie.

Crystal was served a copy of the petition on October 5, 2005. She filed a typed Answer on October 18, 2005 opposing the petition. Had she never been served due to a "bogus address", she couldn't have answered the petition.

After she missed the first hearing, she did get a new hearing, which she acknowledges. Even after she didn't get awarded custody at that hearing, she went out and got an attorney and fought the decision.

Perhaps if she feels the court was on Ron's sides, there is more in the records than what people are seeing in the records available online. It might be helpful to order the complete set of custody records and see what is contained within.

Don't confuse anybody with the facts.

I don't think there is a dispute that by December there was they had the wrong address, but the problem is that is not because RC gave the courts the wrong address. It would be because CS moved and didnt notify the courts of her new address.
