FBI and Texas Rangers join search for missing toddler
The Texas Rangers and the FBI are now assisting in the search for a missing New Braunfels toddler as those efforts enter Day 5. 18-month old Joshua Davis Jr. was reported missing Friday night after he presumably wandered out of his home on Savannah Hill Circle, which sits off of Walnut and Klein Road, in an area surrounded by large fields of tall grass, thick brush, and rocky terrain. New Braunfels Police still say they have no evidence that leads them to believe the boy was abducted. We spoke with New Braunfels Police Lt. Michael Penshorn who says that yesterdays search saw crews look over an expanded area (along with key spots in the original search area just to be sure). And Penshorn reiterated that police detectives have interviewed a number of people throughout the course of this investigation, from the parents, to several people that were at the toddlers home the night he disappeared, to registered sex offenders in the immediate area.
