Yup and he was upset.. .... its really easy to see that the reviews with 5 stars for the most part are new accounts.. .. some of the 1 star ones are also to be fair.. but alot arnt.....

one person named wendy that did a review that gave 5 stars.. had reviewed 2 other books..... another one by peter golenbock.. she gave that one 5 stars also.. and one on the same subject as the other one she reviewd by golenbock.. by some other author that she gave 2.5 stars.. and said in the review that it wasnt as good as golenbocks...... rof..

I have always said that if enough people want to kill the sales of a book, all they have to do is give it a string of one-star reviews even if they haven't read the book. And that is exactly what's going on right now. All those who have given this book one star don't care at all about the truth. They have read in the papers or seen on TV about how Caylee was killed by chloroform or by duct tape, even though at trial both causes of death were refuted and made fun of. This book is the one book that tells the whole truth about this case. Jose Baez worked three years on behalf of this girl, and he deserves to be heard. She was found innocent, not because the jury was buffaloed somehow, but because there was no murder and because Jose dedicated three years of his life defending her, as everyone will see if they take the trouble to read the book. If Amazon.com wants to give the no-nothings an airing, the least it could do is not give four or five of these haters top billing when you go to the list of reviews.

This is the epitome of "Oh yeah? I know you are.. but what am I ????" Are we, like 5? Get over yourself, sir.

By the way, is there any mention in the book of Joe Jordan? Laura Buchanen? You know, the whole TES records caper? I want that explained to me. I want to know their version of the truth of what WE!!! here at WS and the newspapers uncovered, what they were trying to sneak under everyone's nose. What the heck was that all about?

Also, I want to know where the happy magic child-finding boat is. I want to know how the rolling billboard was funded. What's the deal with the heart stickers? How did Zanny's name make its way into the story? Why was Jesse blamed at first and where did she think THAT was gonna end up, and when did they decide to abandon it? What did he say about Tracy Mc and the Padilla team? Does he tell Casey's version of the sunglasses game? Does he even dare to mention the chloroform escapade? Does he blame Amy for Casey's emotional issues?? Gosh...

You know, there truly is so much I want to know from the D side of things, not that I would ever believe a word any of them say about it, but I really just want answers to the old questions, and I'm so frustrated that he feels he's gotta go the molestation route to get ratings. God I hate that.

I wish somebody clever could find a big grouping of all the times Baez smirked at the idea of profiting from a book or movie.

I'll be sure not to buy anything by Peter Golenbock
either, since he mistakenly believes/assumes that the reviewers are "no nothings." Maybe if people hadn't spent years reading every word of discovery then they wouldn't be bothered to get so upset about the BS Jose put out there that they feel compelled to set the record straight. Thanks PG for showing your lack of knowledge. Not interested in your writing, given your assumptions rather than research.

Oh, and P.S. I believe he meant "know nothings" -- another reason to give his writing a pass.

WOW He's about as dellusional as JB and his goddaughter! This book says nothing except one idjits pov.

1. The fact is Caylee died and nobody wants to say the truth.
2. The fact is Caylee was thrown like trash and nobody wants to tell the truth.
3. The accusations on GA and nobody wants to actually prove the truth. Some dispell, some can think this could have happened, but proof is much stronger than words.
4. The fact is the jury wasn't paying attention, had their minds already made up.
5. The fact nobody held to any task of all this nonsense.
6. The fact is Caylee has not attained the justice she so rightly deserves.
7. The fact is this poor excuse of a book is nothing more than another through the wringer story.
8. The fact is nobody really wants to hear any sexual escapades unless there's proof, saying someone got jilled off is a guys line.
9. The fact is JB tried to put himself in the ranks of JA and failed.
10. The fact is the duct tape was proof, the bag(s), the odor was proof, the pool theory, supposition.

Okay - I have just toured the major media sites and found......nada - nothing - zip! There is a major blackout going on - I know a few tweeters were organizing one for Thursday but this no news is well - blinding in the silence.
By the way - have we heard any peeps out of Mason or is he too busy locked away writing his own "book"?
 
OT request...on my phone so cant search. Did somebody post the trunk outline pics on this thread recently?? Trying to show those to DD reading ”the” book. TIA

Sorry, I don't remember off hand, but do know he was going to retire? when LDB asked him to hop on board. They had to be beyond exausted. We also went through the paperwork, some more than others, we were exausted everyday we watched this trial, we could shut it off afterwards, but they had to do so much more, filings, motions, depos, you name it, get the right feel how they were going to present this case, take it home with them. They did the very best they could do and I don't fault them one bit. It also was probably very frustrating to have to deal with JB all the time. I would have laughed at the end too-That's a nothing. Release of tension and the bombastic way JB was trying so hard to put blame on somebody else.

Thank you for reminding me of that - I'd forgotten about it. Yes, I was one of those folks who spent 15 hours a day online for months - through the Frye hearings and the other hearings and then the trial. Less than five hours a night sleep - it was worth it at the time but not sure I will ever do that again. Didn't have the energy or emotional strength left at the time of the verdict to cope well with it at all...
Terrible.

Great rant. And he does mention smelling ”something” in the trunk along with the dead body smell. :rolleyes: which made him panic and say he needed to talk to his client about a plea deal
