Thank you, summer breeze, for this MSM article.

I received an email from Austan's aunt today. It reports that Austan was listed on the National Missing and Exploited Children yesterday....

I so hope he finds his way home, safely!

I don't know how I missed this one. I'm very close to Modesto and would be happy to post fliers around Modesto and surrounding towns. Do I just right click the missing poster, save it then print it out? TIA

Thank you so much, Luckyswife...

I believe that copying and posting fliers would be just fine!

Maybe you could PM a mod to see the best way of doing this... I am rather a novice... And they could let you know the most effective way!

thanks again!

Thank you Luckyswife! Yes, right click, save to your computer (desktop or other preferred folder) Then Print.

Please be sure you have permission (of store owners, etc) to post the fliers. And check local ordinances about posting on telephone poles, etc. Don't want you getting into trouble. And the poster can of course be emailed to local news media, radio stations, etc.

Thank you again!

Thanks guys, I'm just glad I can help in some way! I also have teenages and I will make sure they get the word out about Austan on thier facebooks, jobs and schools! We are about 20 minutes from Modesto and my kids know plenty of kids there. So tonight after dinner I'll start emailing people and places. And first thing tomorrow putting up fliers in Modesto and surrounding areas. Anyone know where about in Modesto his phone pinged? Or names of people he may know here? TIA

Just checking in..nothing new I see. Well Fridays for me are my running around paying bills, shopping, and tomorrow going to post more fliers for Austan and his family, as I'll be in Modesto all day.

Just wanted to add..Last weekend I spent the entire day with my 15 yr old daughter handing out/ posting fliers and talking to strangers about missing kids. In doing something for someone else, I was actually the one who got blessed.

I have 6 kids and its not very often that the older ones want to go along if I take the little ones with me (I always have the littles with me, lol). But last weekend I was going into some places I'd rather not take small children, so they stayed home with Daddy. I was able to really talk with my Daughter about sooo many different things, really get to know her again kinda.

I truly hope Austan finds his way home. Because of his situation and me wanting to help him, God helped me and I was truly blessed that day!

Oh My Gosh...Luckyswife...

Your message brought a lump to my throat... I am glad you were able to spend that special time with your daughter.. I have a 24 year old... and we every so often get a chance for those chats... and it makes us so much closer (to me, anyway).

Thank you for plowing ahead to pass out those fliers... I am still waiting on news... but it is amazing what can happen when we take the time to take the steps!

Blessings!

Per the Facebook page for Austan, he has contacted family and is safe. Not home though.

His police report is still active through ISP and he is still considered to be missing.

I don't know anything of the events that led to Austan's homecoming...

But I can't help but think Luckyswife's and her family's efforts in posting fliers may have had a huge part!

All though we can not give you details at this time...We can not stress enough how important it is that anytime you see a missing post on facebook please, please share it to everyone possible......For those who physically posted flyers, thank you and for those who shared the flyers to there friends and families, thank you........Please never stop helping other families by sharing............
