The same thing happened to me several times with different images. The image I have now is the one that worked. I don't know why. Try downloading this image and then adding it to your profile?

Save as image on your computer.
Go to User CP
Go to edit avatar...
Select choose file.
double click on ribbon image and hit save changes.

It's gallows humor. No one here thinks there is anything funny about the slaughter of a human being. Sometimes after taking in so much horrific stuff ... A joke comes up to ease the strain. Please do not be offended. Many of us here follow grizzly murders, crimes, etc... It's a way to let go a bit or we'd get overloaded.

I have to disagree with that statement. She was visibly shaken by Juan's cloing, taking "deep cleansing breaths" on several occasions.
