Any more on this?

First one in the region that that comes to mind is Tracy Kroh

Doesn't say how old they think the remains are either. I know I read something about this area before. I will have to google it and see what comes up.

Tracy went missing from Millersburg, pa which is about an hour and 6 min. From the location of these remains. IMO I doubt it's her since she went missing in 1989 and that's a ways to travel, but stranger things have happened so ya never know. Oh and these remains were found not far from 81 and 61 which is closer to Frackville, pa than St. Clair. I read about this on the pa missing fb site.

Oh Millersburg is a college town and closer to Lancaster area. Just a side note.

I believe there are young men missing from Pottsville which wouldn't be a stretch because people walk this road all the time to get from Frackville to St Clair and Pottsville and it is a windy dangerous road with little to no shoulder.

Hope this helps.

Kevin Lucas - 33, of Gordon, Schuylkill County, was last seen on March 7, 2011 as he was leaving his home. His vehicle, a blue/tan 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe was located in New Castle Twp, Schuylkill County on March 18, 2011. On November 2, 2011, a man walking his dog in the State Game Lands No. 326 found a human tibia (shinbone). The bone was identified, via DNA analysis, to be that of Mr Lucas. Additional remains have not been located. Rest in peace, Kevin.

County Coroner David Moylan determined through DNA testing that the tibia belonged to Lucas...

millersburg is in northern dauphin co. us 209 connects it to I81, about a 30 min drive.

millersville is the college town near lancaster. there is also a millerstown across the river!

funny story: I live in millersburg and went to millersville. confuses all my relatives.

but the body probably isn't her.

I've had friends that went there, I myself went to york so when I mapped it out it came out to about an hour. Given traffic and such. There are three gentleman listed on charley project and it easily could have been any one of these. God willing for their families hopefully it is.

I've driven this road thousands of times, and it's just creepy to know this was there. I'm also surprised in the many times going out the mountain, the one between mahanoy city, Frackville and st Clair, we never came across something like this. Then again we weren't looking.

Ok, my bad. State game lands 326 is south of Gordon where his tibia was found.

It also appears like it would be on the mountain between Gordon and Frackville.
That is a very big area. I have run around it on foot and by car. Do we know where the tibia was found? Could indicate animal activity.

Map of Gordon and surrounding area.

I was born and raised in this area.

I guess I find it hard to believe someone would randomly strew remains around the area when there are tons of abandoned mines and Euk roads and mining pits and such. But I guess anythings possible.

Deputy Coroner Scott Clews said that location of the tibia bone is about ¾ of a mile east of where the skeletal remains were discovered.

Lucas' abandoned SUV was located on a pole line west of the southbound lanes of Route 61, about a half-mile from the discovery of the skeletal remains, on March 18, 2011.

As the missing person's investigation continued, a person walking a dog on a ridge on State Game Lands 326 on Nov. 2, 2011, found the human tibia.

When remains are scattered in a wooded area it usually indicates that the body was not buried and became disarticulated by animal activity.
