The Shannan Gilbert Timeline

Here’s an unfinished Shannan Gilbert timline.

Info on the years from 1986 to April/May 2010.

The info on her movements on the night of April 30-May 1, 2010, is copy/past quotes from witnesses,
phone records, sources with knowledge of the probe and media newsreports.
So, reading this timeline-text might be a bit incoherent due to that different quotes, from different sources, are put together.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTINUE THE WORK
(But PLEASE ONLY add FACTS/quotes like mentioned in the above)

1986:
SG Born in Lancaster, Pa., on Oct. 24, 1986, the oldest of four sisters.

1987:
(ca ) SG moved to/ grew up in Ellenville NY.

2003:
SG went to New Paltz Central High School. Gilbert squeezed two years of class into one and graduated in 2003, at age 16, said Pottinger

2003-2007:
Once SG graduated from high school, Gilbert had several homes over the next few years: her grandmother's Suffern house, a boyfriend's place in North Carolina, an apartment in Upper Saddle River, N.J. She made money as a hotel receptionist, an Applebee's hostess, a snack preppier at a senior center, family members said.

2007:
SG started working as a call girl, says family and police records.

Working for an agency called Lace Party Girls, Gilbert, then 21, was caught in a Route 17 hotel sting and charged with engaging in prostitution, according to Upper Saddle River police.

It was through Lace Party Girls that she met Alex Diaz, a driver for the agency who made $400 to $800 a day. His record haul was $2,600 in one day, he said. Diaz, a 29-year-old man with dark, shaggy hair, said he and Gilbert became a couple around 2008.

2007, July SG was arrested on a prostitution charge at a northern New Jersey hotel, police say.

2007, SG moved to Jersey City -- closer to Manhattan singing auditions -- but continued working as a prostitute, her family said. She used pseudonyms such as Madison and Angelina, Diaz said, and adopted a "pop star" look, often wearing wigs and flashy clothes.

2007 Dec, SG start her relationship with Alex Diaz

2009 Dec, SG start to have Michael Pak as a driver according to her sister Herrera Gilbert

2009:
Pak said SG began advertising online in 2009.

2009 while SG is working for a Jersey City agency, she met Pak, who identified himself to Newsday as an escort driver. SG charged $200 an hour, and paid Pak a third of the take, he said.

The night Shannan Gilbert vanished
April 30-May 1st 2010 Oak Beach, Long island, New York

April 30, 2010

Friday night

SG, 23 years old, Clad in tight dark jeans, black strappy sandals, a low-cut blouse, and a brown leather jacket, she wore her blond hair (blond wig) loose over silver hoop earrings.

8 PM...
after watching the remake of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" at a Jersey City cinema, SG left her apartment for Manhattan, Diaz said.

Friday, April 30, 2010, the new Freddy Krueger movie was opening. The two (SG and, Alez Diaz) stopped by Taco Bell and snuck the food into a local theater, Diaz said.

10:02 PM...
NEW YORK,NY 2 minutes SG phone call Michael Pak

10:02 PM...
At the corner of 32nd Street and 6th Avenue (this is right by the Empire State Bulding), she pulled out her cellphone and called her driver, Michael Pak, he said. Her mood was calm, Pak would later recall. "She sounded normal," he said. "Everything was OK"

Inside Pak's SUV, Gilbert changed into dark leather boots and posted an ad on Craigslist, he said. By midnight, she was at her first appointment, a man in a nearby apartment, Pak said.

May 1, 2010

12 AM. TO 12:20 AM...
Gilbert meets a client in midtown Manhattan by midnight.

12:20 AM...
NEW YORK,NY 3 minutes SG phone call Michael Pak

12:20 AM...
SG called Pak and said she had finished with the Manhattan call, and needed to be picked up. According to Pak, another client soon called from Long Island. Joseph Brewer, JB was in his words a "lonely guy" at the time.

12:23 AM...
NEW YORK,NY 2 minutes SG phone call Michael Pak

12:25 AM...
NEW YORK,NY 1 minute SG phone call Michael Pak

1 AM...
Gilbert and Pak head to Oak Beach, Pak said, for an appointment with Joseph Brewer (distance from mid Manhattan to JB address is ca 1 hour and 5 minutes)

2 AM(ca)...
Pak said he and SG arrived in Oak Beach (the address 8 The Fairway Oak Beach ). Gilbert went inside Brewer's house while Pak played poker on his cellphone in the SUV. Gilbert's price: $250 an hour, the driver said.

Time ???...
Shortly after she arrived, Gilbert and Brewer left the house in his vehicle for about 15 minutes but did not leave Oak Beach, sources familiar with the probe said.

Time???...
Joseph Brewer told The Star-Ledger last week that he questioned SG's gender that night. Joseph Brewer said SG asked, “Have you come across any transvestites?” He was turned off, he said, and started to wonder if she was man or at least part man. “I wanted her out,” Joseph Brewer said.

Time ???...
SG went to the bathroom for some time and emerged acting erratically. "She was starting to freak out," he said..Brewer went outside to Pak, asking for help in getting her to leave.

In the timeframe 2:55 AM to 4:51 AM thise phonecalls was registrated on SG's phonerecords:

2:55 AM... BABYLON,NY 1 Oak Beach CVS
(460 MONTAUK HIGHWAY WEST ISLIP, NY11795)

2:57 AM... NEW YORK,NY 3 Michael Pak

3:00 AM... Incoming, 3 Michael Pak

3:04 AM... NEW YORK,NY 6 Michael Pak

3:13 AM... Incoming, 1 Michael Pak

3:15 AM... NEW YORK,NY 2 Michael Pak

4:09 AM... NEW YORK,NY 1 Michael Pak

4:51 AM...
Gilbert calls 911, and police would be on the phone with her for 23 minutes (from 4.51 to 5:14 a.m.)
It was the last call recorded from that phone.SG could not say where she was, and no officers arrived until nearly 6 a.m., after neighbors called 911. The driver MP's voice can be heard on her 911 call

2-5 AM...
MP said he spent three hours in his SUV outside the gated community, playing poker over the Internet and sleeping, when..

5 AM (ca)...
Gilbert's client phoned him at about 5AM saying Gilbert was refusing to leave the house

The driver said he drove back to the client's house and found Gilbert, who was clothed, in the living room on the phone with a 911 operator, saying that a man was after her.

Later, Pak said, Brewer summoned him to the house to try to get Gilbert out. Brewer grabbed her from behind at one point, Pak said. But she slipped out of his grasp and crouched behind a sofa, where she dialed 911 in a 23-minute call, placed at 4:51 a.m., and told the operator, "They’re trying to kill me."

"I said 'Shannon, Get a grip. Let's go,' and she said, 'You guys are trying to kill me.' So I said, 'OK, I am leaving.' But then she said, 'Don't go."
"After Gilbert refused to leave, Pak said he sat down, exasperated. He was beginning to suspect she was acting strangely because of a bad reaction to drugs and alcohol, which he said she often did with clients. Brewer said he saw no drugs. Police say they believe Gilbert was intoxicated.

Finally, he'd (MP) had enough and walked out and got into his SUV, he said.

Pak said he went back to his car, where he saw Gilbert take off running after Brewer "scared her out" of the home.

"She never got back in my car," Pak said

Pak said she bolted from the house, phone in hand, and fell down the front steps before running away.

The driver said he ran after Gilbert, who is bipolar and has a history of cocaine abuse, but then lost track.

5:14 AM...
GS 23 minute long phonecall with the 911 operator stops.

SG runs out of Brewer’s house to the home of Gustav Coletti banging on his door yelling "help me help me".

5:22 AM...
Gustav Coletti calls 911. Police arrived about 45 minutes later (that would be 6:07 am)

GC said that Gilbert begged him not to call the police and ran from his house, again falling down the steps.

GC says: "SG ran out to the middle of the road , she started to to come back this way and she turned around and she saw the car comming slowly, and stop, and go and then comming, and she took of on a run, right around this way and hid under the boat right there. I was sat on the deck at this point and I watched him come down (in his dark gray SUV ) and he stoped there, and I went down, and I walked ower to him (GC have described him as a slim Asian man weighing about 150 pounds ), and I said; were do you think you´r going? and that´s when he told me he has, they were having a party at the Brewes house and a girl, a young girl got upset and left, and he was trying to find her to bring her back . I said well I have called the police already and they were on their way. Stay right here.' GC says to the driver, the driver answered 'Oh, you shouldn't have done that. She's going to be into a lot of trouble.' I says, 'So are you,' " Coletti recalled, One of a sudden she (GS) took of again and went around that way ( toward the beach down Sandy Drive, a short, curving road that intersects The Fairway.) and he took of after her. So then I walked out to the gate, to the gatehouse I waited for the police as soon as they came I let them in, anneah i told them that at the last they went that way

Gilbert ran around the corner, Coletti said, and headed past the gate, which is the only well-lit area in the neighborhood. Instead of running out of the community and toward Ocean Parkway, she turned onto a road called Anchor Way, which led her past the group mailboxes and deeper into the neighborhood, toward the water.

Pak said he was driving around looking for Gilbert, and told Coletti they had been at a party and that the young woman who had gotten upset and left. Coletti said he'd seen her and called police

The last known trace of Gilbert was a 911 call from a home at the end of Anchor Way, according to the neighbor briefed on the investigation. The neighbor said Gilbert’s sweater — or perhaps it was the jacket Diaz saw her wearing when she left — was found along that road.

Pak said he resumed his search and drove around the gated community and outside the complex along Ocean Parkway -- texting and calling her furiously on his cell phone, she didn't respond -- before leaving the area 6 a.m. and believing that Gilbert would somehow make her way back to Jersey City.

6 AM...
Pak said he gave up his search for SG an drow back to New York City believing that Gilbert would somehow make her way back to Jersey City

6:10 AM (ca)...
police arrive at the Oak Beach gatehouse.

May 2, 2010:
Gilbert's mother says she received a strange phone call from a doctor who lives nearby, saying Shannan had been in his house the day she disappeared.

"He called me on the phone. He said he had a halfway house and that Shannon was there," she explained. "She wanted to be off the streets and he was trying to help her."
When we asked [redacted] about the story, he said he didn't say Shannon was in his house.
"Of course not. That's ridiculous," he said.
[redacted] is a former head of Suffolk County Emergency Medical Services and a former police surgeon who lives in the area where Gilbert was last seen, after visiting with a client.
[redacted] denies ever meeting Shannan Gilbert, but he says police have interviewed him about the case two or three times. He wouldn't say what about.

May 3,2010:
the boyfriend (Alex Ditz) and the driver (Michael Pak) returned to Oak Beach in search of Gilbert and checked local beaches and area hospitals, according to the driver

Brewer, the john, said he didn’t realize Gilbert was missing, or that she had run through the neighborhood, until he got a call in the days after. Pak, the driver, and Diaz, the boyfriend, dialed him on a three-way call to discuss what happened.

Aug 2010:
Coletti says a detective showed up in August to ask him about what happened that day. In response to Coletti's "Where have you been?" question, the detective told him he had just received the missing person report from New Jersey.

Different info, not yet arranged into the timeline:

Shannan’s earring was found in front of J. Brewer’s house by her sisters (PD missed this)
Detectives recovered Shannan’s jacket in the brush where she had run early in their initial search, but now tell the family “it’s lost.” They also say they don’t have her purse, ID, cell phone.

the only trace of Shannan Gilbert was a set of footprints in the sand, heading in the general direction of an empty, overlooked stretch of shore called Gilgo Beach.

"That was the last time she was seen. We saw her footprints in the sand," said Justin Canning, 20, who lives down the street."She was in a panic. We thought she was on drugs."

Neighbors said they knew about the party and the incident about the screaming woman.

Shannan Gilbert's phonerecords:

05/01/10 4:51 AM 911-000-0000 Emergency, 23
05/01/10 4:09 AM NEW YORK,NY 1 Michael Pak
05/01/10 3:15 AM NEW YORK,NY 2 Michael Pak
05/01/10 3:13 AM Incoming, 1 Michael Pak
05/01/10 3:04 AM NEW YORK,NY 6 Michael Pak

05/01/10 2:57 AM NEW YORK,NY 3 Michael Pak

05/01/10 12:23 AM NEW YORK,NY 2 Michael Pak
05/01/10 12:20 AM NEW YORK,NY 3 Michael Pak
04/30/10 10:02 PM NEW YORK,NY 2 Michael Pak

The driver said he drove back to the client's house and found Gilbert, who was clothed, in the living room on the phone with a 911 operator, saying that a man was after her.

One minute MP is saying SG was in the living room, already on the 911 call when he came in (another time he said "kitchen"). Then he indicates he was already there when JB grabbed SG, she then crouched behind the couch, and then called 911.

MP's statements are contradictory at a very critical point in the timeline.

Hi Theforeigner, I can't find a list of people in this case 'by initial'. Do you know who DS and SY are? And thanks for the Timeline.

We are gonna need some sort of legend to keep track of all these initials! LOL!

I think DS Might be Dave Schaller, Amber Costello's roommate. I don't know who SY is. That's a new one for me.

Thanks Dwntwnslim, Yes, that sounds right for DS. SY - I know the last letter is a Y, thought the first letter was an S.

The Shannan Gilbert Timeline

GC said that Gilbert begged him not to call the police and ran from his house, again falling down the steps.

RSBM

This is the first time I have heard of GC saying Shannan begged him not to call the cops! Where did that come from?

ETA: I have been trying to find an exact date when Shannan was actually reported missing. Do we know? I know her mother says the police didn't take her seriously at first. When was Shannan officially a missing person? I am finding it very difficult to put this together without that info.

Recently, someone helped out with the SY initials. He is a recovered heroin-addict, who witnessed the death, by decapitation, of his gf many years ago. He went through rehab and was hired on and rose to director at a now long standing LI & NYC rehab facility. Presumably, he is a good fit. He also appears to own a home at the corner of Circle Dr & Hawser Dr., at the back end of Oak Beach and the Marsh...almost directly East of where SG's remains were found. Someone posted an old commercial of him hoking his rehab center over less established businesses.

Your welcome :)

Klick on this link and it will take you to Google with info on "SY" and his rehab etc.

Also then klick on "images" and then you can see recent photos of "SY"

"SY" was born 28 Nov 1950, so he is 61 years old, but he is kind of good looking, and look younger than his age, he has also lost weight since the vidoe that has been posted on another thread here on WS, and his middle name begin with J

Here is a link to that video + som additional info on him in post #343 By a poster nickname "Droopy":

BUT NOTE!!! that there might be more than one "SY" in US, so maybe not all info is about the Oak Beach "SY"

The "Oak Beach "SY" is owner of "ACI healthcare group" also called ACI Rehab

Hope this helps.

Wait a minute!

Did not Mari Gilbert get a call from CPH saying that SG was at his rehab clinic? We know CPH does not have a rehab clinic, but SY does. Coincidence? Linkage?

Where was SY the night SG disappeared?

Are SY and CPH friends? Partners? Were they both at JB's that fateful night?

Has LE followed this up?

"She said Hackett told her he runs a halfway house for runaway children, that her daughter visited him on May 1, 2010, and that she left that day with her driver"

The word clinic was never mentioned, and now that we know CPH did act as a Patient Advocate, this "halfway house" excuse becomes even more plausible.

Truthspider,

My experience with people who lie is that they basically tell the truth with minor changes that are untruthful.

So CPH states he met SG, (truth) and she left with 'her' driver. (untruth--which driver and when?)

Do we know at what time and where CPH had his meeting with SG?

MP was 'her' driver, do we know for sure MP did not drive her away from Oak Beach?

If MP did not take SG away, who was driving 'her'?

In CPH's mind he can explain away this potential lie with 'I thought it was her driver'.

Finally; couldn't LE charge MP and JB with prostitution related crimes. Possibly then in return for a plea bargain these men might provide more accurate details and information about events that night. To crack this case LE needs a witness or hard evidence.

Truthspider,
My experience with people who lie is that they basically tell the truth with minor changes that are untruthful.

Half truths are a very important notion, many sk doctors utilize half truths, in their mind they aren't even murdering, they are putting someone to sleep with an injection, they have to do it all the time at work, it's no biggy. Poisoning someone is a crime for the non-confrontational, more common with women serial killers but also doctor serial killers. Slipping a crushed pill into her drink at the party is so simple, he could have done it right under everyone's nose. He would know that eventually he would be the one with the power and the control, when everyone else around that night looked to CPH to help her. Just like the fireman that sets the fire, so he can come to the rescue, exert power and control. This drowning story could be a half truth too, if he drowned his sedated victim.

The more I learn, the more believable the halfway house line is coming from him. He does alot of "treating of the home bound" and "patient advocacy" and "we don't treat rehab patients here" but he does treat them at their homes doesn't he?

I know I am right about Jane Doe from 1995, she was a patient, a patient with no support network, a patient who was home bound from the operations on her ankles and legs, and CPH was happy to treat her in privacy, outside of a hospital.

Another half-truth: "for runaway children" all of those unidentifiable victims were run-aways, and everyone knows it. Now I really see why they had those "tough couple of days"...
It's all becoming crystal clear...

"She said Hackett told her he runs a halfway house for runaway children, that her daughter visited him on May 1, 2010, and that she left that day with her driver"

"I think he did a great job," said Dr. Mark Henry, chairman of emergency medicine at University Medical Center in Stony Brook. "He was a patient advocate . . . a physician who was willing to get involved."

How could you possibly know with any degree of certainty who was a patient of what doctor without being in violation of HIPAA laws?

@ Theforeigner-

Thanks for putting together all of these timelines! I can tell you spent a lot of time putting it together as it is so well researched. This is so helpful!

Thank you!

Hi Truth, Did he have his son/children in the house in 1995? I wonder if he had the 'examination table'island in the kitchen at that time?

Please only post/ discuss the Shannan Gilbert TIMELINE subjects in this thread.

Thanks in advance :)

OK, plain and simple, which group of people in the following article is telling either a (1) Lie, or (2) a "Half-Truth"? If there's some other possible option here, please let me know.

Either (A) Homicide Investigators, or (B) Mari and Sherre.

Here's the article: http://www.news12.com/articleDetail.jsp?regionId=1&articleId=279098&position=1&news_type=news

Please note:

From the article: "She [Mari] says she doesn't necessarily believe Hackett had anything to do with her sister's disappearance, but wants the authorities to hear her."

From her LISK post: "I believe Hackett DID see Shannan that nite, and tried to help her but either he was too late or was Strongly told to “walk away”."
http://longislandserialkiller.com/2011/10/bs-9/

What I make of all this is that Mari had been talking to locals who didn't like CPH and had their own "conspiracy theories" and just wanted CPH investigated more, so she made up a "half-truth" about what CPH said on that call. Can you think of any locals that may have had the Gilberts' ears? Like Flukeyou?

Bolded Above in Blue, this is another case of either bad reporting, bad editing or bad quoting. Mari is Shannan's mother not her sister.

OK, I´ll try again:

This is a SG TIMELINE thread !!!

Please only post/ discuss the Shannan Gilbert TIMELINE subjects in this thread.

Thanks in advance
