That was my thought exactly when I saw this on the news this morning. I think they found a body fairly recently (not as recently as this week but within the last month or so).
 
I believe the previous victims were prostitutes and/or drug addicts, but I think some may start that way because they are easy targets and then get bolder.

Hopefully this woman just wanted to get away for a while and will contact her family soon.
 
I haven't heard anything else about her. I hope she comes home safely, but she was already missing almost 2 weeks when it made it to MSM. So sad.
 
A 22 year-old female from Philadelphia has been reported missing for almost a week and family members say she may be escorting in Atlantic City.

Franchesca Alvarado was reported missing by her sister on March 23rd, last Friday.

Authorities say Alvarado was last seen by family members on March 12th and was last known to be at Resort's in Atlantic City with her boyfriend.

According to her family, Alvarado could possibly be engaging in prostitution.

I checked the South Jersey CL ads, didn't find anything.
 
Plenty (!) of ads on Back Page for the Jersey Shore. I can't look through them... It's too uncomfortable, and I am not sure I'd recognize her if I saw her.
 
If she was out there with her boyfriend, that could be it too. That is the first person I'd suspect.
 
If she did travel to AC to work as an escort/prostitute, and she didn't post on BP or any of the review forums, then she is most likely just trolling through the hotels and casinos looking for johns. The BF aspect makes me think something bad has happened to her though. Hope she is found soon. Also, her phone is not working or has been turned off, not a good sign
 
Where is her boyfriend? Did he return home from Atlantic City? What did he say about the last time he saw her? Is he cooperating with police?

There's too many unanswered questions about her boyfriend.

I'm pretty sure the serial killer in AC wasn't killing prostitutes from classified ads. I think he was just picking them up in the area.
 
Me too. I saw on one of the articles comments section, NBC10 Philly, Cheka's sister and brother both commented. The brother thinks the media is throwing dirt on her reputation.
Interestingly there is a large blank on the page so I am wondering if they took out that "may be escort" stuff?

Philly PD website says NOTHING about 'prostitute' or any words to that effect.

Wow good find. Very interesting to see now the reports don't mention anything about escorting. And I read previously she went with her boyfriend, now it is being reported as a male friend. I am wondering if there is a distinction or more inaccurate reporting.
