The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

In 1991 they probably had a rest area on both sides (westbound and eastbound) but now it looks like they built one in the center between the two directions of I-30 near MM 95. There is an Exit 97 and an Exit 91. There is a tributary feeding into the Ouachita river and, without full skeletal remains, this person could have have come from somewhere else. However, that fact that there is a rest stop, rural housing, a big enough "creek" to fish in, it may be that this person was at the rest area but never left. The clothing seems a bit upscale compared to a t-shirt and jeans. The ladies clothing could also indicate a hookup / drug deal that went wrong.

Re: swim trunks and underwear. We once hosted an exchange student from Morocco. He is Muslim. He always, always wore an undershirt, boxers, and 'bikini-style' briefs under the boxers.

This from laundry, I only saw him fully clothed.

The standard of modesty is different in Morocco, and may be other places. These are certainly American brand clothes -- but with a tee-shirt under a long sleeved shirt and underwear under trunks and other-continent shoes -- was this gentleman Muslim?

Just thinking while typing, y'all know that & YMMV

No ruleouts listed in Namus for this young man.

Tommie Cosey just added to NamUs could be a candidate for this unidentified male. His photos show him wearing button up, long sleeve dress shirts same as UID.

Tommie was 32 at the time he went missing two months earlier (from the Chicago area)

Hair style, clothing style, age, height and PMI all relate.
