Oh that is so sad!

Sort of reminds me of someone who dove into a hot pool at Yellowstone Park after their dog jumped or fell in. I mean, that one was more obviously an almost certain quick death, while this one perhaps it was instinct or maybe she really thought she could save her dog. Regardless it's AWFUL :(

The 25th anniversary of Beth Ellen's disappearance just passed....

Looks like we must hope for some hiker, fisher, canoeist, or kayaker to discover her somewhere along the river.

And it has been my observation that the ordinary dog is a better swimmer than an average human. As far as I am concerned, Rover can fend for himself. I'm not plunging in.

beautiful girl who sacrificed herself for the dog but... the dog was saved? or did he go with her? As they say above, we will have to wait for some explorer or hiker to go down that dangerous river and find his remains...
either way
rest in peace
