LETTS — William Ray (Jake)
Hidlebaugh, 68, of Huntington
Park, "Calif, formerly of Letts,
died at 6:25 p.m. Wednesday at
the Huntington Park hospital
following a long illness.
Born in Louisa County, Feb.
28, 1900, the son of John and
Netlie Kallenberger Hidlebaugh,
he had lived most of his life at
Letts, moving to- Huntington
Park 31 years ago.
Mr. Hidlebaugh married the
former Ann White in 1920 at
Muscatine. He was a member of
St. Rose of Lima Catholic
church at Maywood, Calif.
Survivors are his widow, Ann
Hidlebaugh; one son, I«o Hidlebaugh
of Huntington Park, Calif.;
one brother, Glenn Hidlebaugh
of Letts; three sisters,
Mrs. Maude Furnas, Letts, Mrs.
Lottie Harter and Mrs. Hazel
Busch both of Muscatine; one <---Unclaimed
grandson and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held
at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mathias
church. The Rosary will be
recited this evening at 8 o'clock
at the Riley funeral home. Burial
will be at St. Mary's cemetery.
The body is at the Riley funeral
home where friends may call
after 6 o'clock this .evening
