IN IN - Donna Mitchell, 57, Hope, 11 Feb 2020

Donna Mitchell was last seen Feb. 11, 2020 after leaving her home in Hope, Indiana. Investigators say she was last seen around 7:30 p.m. at the Brown Bottle liquor store in Hartsville, Indiana and was supposed to be going to an address near CR 60 Southwest and CR 600 South in Decatur County

Police said investigators have conducted aerial searches of the area where Mitchell is believed to have been traveling and have searched ponds and lakes in the area, where investigators have been allowed on the property legally, but with no results.

Additional investigators have now been placed on the case to look into old and new leads.
Anyone with information that has not yet been shared with police, or has information about ponds, lakes or filled-in ponds or lakes that police may not have searched is asked to call the Decatur County Sheriff’s Department at 812-663-8125.

Reactions: ?!?
In the past two and a-half years, aerial searches have taken place all over the area where Mitchell was believed to have been traveling, with no results. Property owners in the area allowed investigators to search ponds and lakes in the area as well with sonar equipment, but again, investigators weren’t able to find anything.
Gone THREE YEARS as of today....

and still not on NAMUS....

The news outlet "The 812" is releasing a story on Donna tomorrow and talking about why they are ramping up the search for her again. It's nice to see that people are still talking about her.

I've attached a copy of a recent press release about them looking into old and new leads so it looks like maybe some new information surfaced. Let's hope it leads somewhere!

Seems to me that the possibility that she may be OUTSIDE of Indiana has been overlooked:

When the initial Alert was issued, it was statewide ONLY. After two years, apparently State Police told local sheriff to cancel it - which he did, but did NOT then put it on any of the NATIONAL sites (NAMUS, etc.).

Don't see any rationale for this....
