Circumstances of Disappearance:
Willis was last seen in Rolla, MO on September 28, 2005. Her daughter reported her missing after she'd been unable to get in touch with her for a month. Her roommate reported that Willis had moved out without saying where she was going and that she has never been in contact since. Willis left the majority of her belongings behind at her residence but she did take her computer. Her family says it is uncharacteristic for her to leave without warning, and they believe she could have gone to meet with someone she met online. At the time of her disappearance, she was driving a gray four-door 1988 Chevrolet Nova with the Missouri license plate number 473-YEM. Willis' whereabouts remain unknown.

Missing from: Rolla

Circumstances: Qutisha Willis's daughter reported her missing after not being able to contact her mother for about a month.

Prior to contacting police, her daughter spoke to Willis's roommate at the time who said she had moved out and hadn't been heard from since. The roommate did not know where she was going.

Police say no evidence points to foul play in this case, but it is strange that she has not had contact with her family, especially her daughter who she was believed to be close to.

They believe she may have met someone online, met them and never returned.

The majority of her belongings were left at her home in Rolla, but she did take her computer, which prevented police from searching it for clues if she had in fact met someone on the Internet.

Good find! It seems that 2 of these cases of dissolution of marriages. The financial problems seem to stem from her non payment of child support. She was in and out of court for this issue. Several probation violations. She was in court earlier in the month she went missing. In July 2005 she was in court on a probation violation and was jailed for 48 hrs and was to complete community service and a corrective thinking course. On 9/12/2005 she appears in court on another probation violation. She hadn't done her community service the judge sentences her to 4 years (DFT SENTENCED TO 4 YRS DOC.). She must not have been taken into custody at that point. A warrant is served on on 9/19/05. 9 days later she is missing. After that she has several more probation violations with her probation expiring in 2012 and the warrant is withdrawn in 2012 as well.

Clever, if one managed to disappear before entering the DOC as an inmate.

I just noticed the money owed, and wondered about leaving the debt, to a hospital and the child support.

Even more motivation for most folks to avoid that prison term!

There isn't much out there about the roommate. They never mention his/her name. I'm curious about the roommate just wish there was more to the story. I wish the police and media would give more information and look into the situation more or again.

September 28th was the last time the daughter spoke to her mother on the phone. They lived hours apart. It wasn't until late December 2005 that the roommate, male, called the daughter asking if she had seen or spoken to her mom.
