• Other: Medical - Suffers from bipolar disorder.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
Ruffini was last seen at her residence in Edison, New Jersey on January 26, 1996. She got into an argument with her husband and left home during the early morning hours. She has never been heard from again. She has traveled to the Inglewood, California area in the past, but her current whereabouts are unknown.

I have checked in on this case from time to time, there has never been any leads or details revealed. When you hear "fought" with husband prior to disappearing you have to wonder. Another case is eerily similar, Margaret Haddigan McEnroe from the Warren area. I'm sure Maryanne's husband was interviewed back then and not enough evidence to follow up or charge him. The other caveat is she had mental illness (stated bi-polar disorder) and having 2 scars on her wrists it appears she attempted suicide in the past. I just wonder though, did she jump from the bridge in Edison? No body has been found. I believe others that have jumped and their bodies were not recovered. Is there a current that could lead to where missing jumpers could wash ashore? I wish this family could have some closure, her mom still posts on the help find Maryanne FB page, it's so heartbreaking.
