"The limbs have been turned over to the state medical examiner's office and will undergo forensic testing, which Hartman said is the only way to identify the person or people to whom they belong. He expects to receive lab results in about a week and a half.

Authorities will then check local and national databases to see if the limbs match anyone reported missing. Already, police have received calls from other departments handling dismembered body cases to investigate a possible link."

Those remains have been identified as belonging to a homeless man.

37 year old Amber Merrell has been missing since on our about 7/16/15. She has a history of going mia for a couple days here and there but never this long without contacting her children or mom. No idea if the cases are related at all but thought it was worth adding. I did see a separate thread on here related to her disappearance.

Loretta Gates is related to Terri Bills through marriage.

Gates was found dismembered, three years before Bills, also in Niagara Falls. This case is also unsolved...

"The first one was bad enough," Rizzo said. "The fact that it happened a second time is very eye opening and then you're always going day to day hoping there's not going to be a third"...

After searching cell phone records for a year straight, investigators say they've got a much better idea of who could be responsible.

Police have found another young woman's dead body in Niagara Falls, NY. Police have stated that her body is in tact, but foul play may be involved.

Her name has not been released, but her family has posted a page for her - Lynnann. From a few quick searches, it appears as though she had the same struggles as Loretta and Teri did as far as drugs and prostitution go.

It is also a little eerie that it is 6 years after Loretta's murder and 3 years after Teri's murder.

Some weird stuff happening in the Falls again today. The Niagara Reporter reported there was a call for a deceased body that was cut up and scattered around a property on Pretoria street.

The police were at the home removing evidence today. It was then released that NF police had found no body yet they spent several hours collecting evidence at the residence.

To me, this sounds like they may have something big and are trying not to alert the public.

This may be unrelated to the previous murders but it is bizarre. I have yet to see any kind of follow-up regarding the girl found dead last month.

Falls police see no apparent links between Bills case, suspected serial killer

i wonder if anything ever came of this look into a connection to Neal Falls. Police said they were looking into it but it seems they dismissed it b before even really checking it out. I've never seen any more on it either way.
