What is going on with this case? Have people been charged with her murder? The one woman that is dead-was she murdered in Texas ( I don't mean the woman who made the deathbed confession). Who torched the courthouse? Did anyone try to find out who did it? There is no evidence in this murder? if the girl was related to powerful people in town, couldn't those relatives get justice?

wow!! what a cover up indeed including prosecutor socializing with defendants -- yowser -- little wonder her surviving siblings moved from that area as adults...what a shame.

it would be interesting to know how their lives have been in these past decades i.e. jail time? for other shenanigans?

Nick Tsanges ran a bar that was shut down 2002 for allowing drug transactions to take place -- and he died suddenly in 2003.

Victim's family was also suing to get back all of her remains too --- very sad.

Nick Tsanges sounds like one bad arsed dude

if he had lived perhaps he would have been charged with witness tampering today! in addition to murder.....

A witness now indicates that the late Nick Tsanges was the murderer and not an innocent man who has been serving 26 years for a murder that Nick Tsanges committed. The witness to the murder now admits he lied because Nick Tsanges would have murdered him. Witness admitted to LE after Nick died - witness was terrified of Nick Tsanges.

that murder took place March 1977 -- Cheryl was killed June 1977

I read the whole document. I cannot even imagine the suffering of her family being roadblocked at every turn over the years.

Should be made into a movie....
