Circumstances of Recovery: The decedent was found in the Cumberland River near the Cumberland River Greenway in Metro Center on 03/17/2024. 911 was called and Nashville Fire Department Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene. The decedent was recovered and transported via boat to the Cleeces Ferry Boat Ramp in West Nashville. The decedent was then transported to the Center for Forensic Medicine by Middle Tennessee Removal Service for examination and to make positive identification.
