8/1/19 Day 38/Day 2-deliberations: Jury continues deliberations & without reaching verdicts after their first full day of deliberations. They won't return until Tuesday, 8/6 to resume talks.
8/6/19 Day 39/Day 3-deliberations: The jury left the courthouse at 4 p.m. after deliberating for its second full day. Their talks came an extended four-day break. Jury will be deliberating Monday thru Thursday. Deliberations continue on 8/7.
8/7/19 Day 40/Day 4-Deliberations: Earlier in the day, the panel asked Judge Trina Thompson if they could have access to an iPad so they could review evidence in the case. Prosecutors indicated they didnt' have a "clean" device for the jury to use, so the jury might not get access until sometime later. No verdict as of today. Deliberations continue on 8/8.
8/8/19 Day 41/Day 5-Deliberations: The jury has gone home without reaching verdicts. Because Fridays are always dark, the panel won't return to resume deliberations until Monday, 8/12.

*Jacob Stephen Wootton () “step dad” arrested (10/31/18) & charged (11/1/18) with level 1 felony neglect of a dependent resulting in death, Invasion of Privacy-Violates a no contact order issued, resisting Law Enforcement def. knowingly or intentionally forcibly resists, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia & habitual offender & charged (5/16/19) with 1st degree murder. Plead not guilty. $35K cash only bond.
Active no-contact order between Wootton & Stephen after Elwood police arrested Wootton for allegedly hitting Stephen in front of her 4- & 2-year-old children in March of 2018.

*Sentencing Hearing (@ 9am ET) - KY - Baby (3 mos) (Nov. 9, 2018, Bowling Green) – *Virginia Rae Keabler (20) & *Nicholas Jewell Nichols (22), (the parents of the child) and only for *Roger Dale Ramsey (59) & *Ronda Rae Keabler (50) (lived in the loft) were arrested & charged (11/9/18) & arraigned (1/1/19 & 1/28/19) with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Buy/Possess Drug Paraphernalia, & Criminal Abuse of a Child under the age of 12.
Charged with drug & criminal abuse charges after a report that a 3-month-old baby was being kept in a shed/loft. Loft did not have water & was being heated with gas & electric heaters. The citation says the baby was sleeping in a laundry hamper with a pillow. The sheriff's deputy also saw three meth pipes. Baby was taken into protective custody & taken to the hospital to be checked out.

11/14/18: Florida case: He pled nolo contenderé to all charges (5 counts) on 11/14/18 & was sentenced for them. He was given a sentence of 2 years on some of the counts & 5 months on others. 5/20/19 in Alabama: murder charges dismissed, indicted & charged with manslaughter.

*Trial set to begin (@ 8:30am ET) – FL – Taylor Ashley Wright (33) (last seen Sept. 8, 2017, reported missing 9/14/17, Pensacola, found Oct. 19, 2017 in No. Pensacola on McArthur’s family property) - *Ashley Britt McArthur (40/now 42) arrested (10/19/17), indicted (11/7/17) & arraigned (11/9/17) with 1st degree premediated murder with a firearm. $400K bond (was out on bond 2/5/18), but bond revoked after found guilty (1/25/19) for arson, fraud & racketeering charges (3/29/18). Was sentenced to 84 months in State prison, followed by 3 years probation.

7/16/19 Update: An attorney for the mother of a 10-year-old girl killed in February 2018 said she will ask the state to dismiss murder charges against her, if the girl’s stepfather pleads guilty.
