TACOMA — The discovery of a partial human skull last month in a wooded area in East Pierce County has reignited interest in solving some long-term missing persons cases.

There are more than 1,800 missing persons statewide and 146 of those are women in Pierce County.

It’s not the media that is investigating the disappearances of these women. It is investagators from the Washington State Patrol and the Tacoma Police department.
The news article posted at the top briefly tells why LE chose to start with these 5 women.
