Was just looking through the new Wyoming Missing Persons website and spotted this. Not sure what’s going on here, but pretty sure Kimberly Kay Allen and Kimberly Kay Novak are the same person?

Haven’t found much else. Still looking though. Seems she was born in May 1956, according to Ancestry. ETA: I noticed the newspaper article refers to Kim as “he”. Not sure what to make of that.

A bit more information from Ancestry. Her birth date is 25 May 1958 in Helena, Montana. Allen is her married name (she was born Kimberly Kay Novak). This comes from multiple family trees with her picture and a birth record confirming the birth details. The obvious question (especially given the reference to a custody issue) concerns her marriage and husband - but he is only named as Tom Allen in Ancestry with no further details or records.

She returned to WY from MT. Her last visit to MT wasn’t for a custody issue. Tom was long out of Kim’s life before she went missing in WY. Plus he is deceased. The last family heard from her was February 2, 1989. She had a son born in WY. There are people in WY that know what happened to her.
