He posted bond a long time ago and was allowed to remain free on bond until the sentencing hearing.

My bet is, he will get the maximum sentence of 36 months, plus the maximum amount of supervised release. I hope it's not like other cases where the convict only serves a percentage of their sentence before being paroled.

Statute of limitation has run out for those charges or he would have been. There was mention of that in the hearing this morning.

Who ever she went to meet or someone that knew Karen could expose things about them or their lifestyle that would be damaging for them. JMO

So I take it that if there is a retrial, the charges that David was found not guilty of will not apply. I doubt the state is going to put on another trial with out the charges of 1st degree murder, knowing they have no physical evidence and the circumstantial evidence they do have is weak at...

I don't think the state has enough evidence to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. There is nothing to connect David or the Swift home to Karen's death. The fact that there is no hard evidence is a big problem for the state and most of what the state wants the jury to believe is easily...

It puts animal blood in the garage. A witness for the state said that blood was found in the garage but was not human blood. This will possibly explain how the blood got there so the jury doesn't think it may be Karen's blood. JMO
