An 18-year-old woman who disappeared last Monday may have been killed, according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

In a missing persons report, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office says her 2-year-old daughter told family members that "Mommy was in blood."

One week later, the sheriff's office is saying they've found evidence of homicide.

Last Tuesday, a Bibb County deputy tried to call Dixon, but they were not able to reach her.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office tells 13WMAZ that the investigation is ongoing. In the missing persons report, they named a suspect but, as of now, no charges have been filed.

A police report filed the day Gabi Dixon was reported missing states that her mother, Gabriella Searcy, said that the father of Gabi's kids dropped their children off at her house last Monday.

"Momma was in blood," Searcy says one child told her when the other said it was okay and "Momma is sleeping."

Searcy says that the children's father, Reginald Harris, told her that Gabi was at work but Searcy says that she had already called her job and knew she wasn't there. She said that Harris had been acting very suspiciously and an investigator on scene said that he had previously advised that Dixon take out a temporary protective order on Harris. The Sheriff's Office says, though, that no TPO had ever been filed.

At this time, Harris is being investigated as a possible suspect in her disappearance.

The 2 year-old does seem to be a smart and observant little one, but I'm hoping for good news -- but not betting on it.

So glad that loving relatives are close, especially for the smart little girl who misses her mommy.

Now, Harris is in jail on four outstanding charges against him, the sheriff's office says.
Among those charges, he faces a count of family violence. In particular, he faces a misdemeanor battery charge.

Additionally, Harris is charged with terroristic threats and acts and two counts of aggravated assault.

According to jail records, Reginald Harris was arrested at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday. He is not charged in Dixon's case yet; he is in jail on separate charges.

Sept. 3, Dixon reported that she was driving down Old Clinton Road heading to a hair appointment for one of her kids when she heard a honk and saw Harris driving behind her.

She said he started to shoot at the car that Dixon was in with their two kids and her current boyfriend, Kelvin Willis, according to the warrant.

When will the epidemic of women being brutalized by an ex or current partner end?? And to do it in front of your kids. This man is pure evil. Gabriella was a beautiful young woman and seemed to be doing the best she could for her and her babies. I’m hoping for justice to be served quickly, for both Gabi and her babies who had to see their momma like that. </3

She's not. The kids reported he shot her, bloody sheets were found in a dumpster. The only question here is if they find her body, and her mamma gets to bury her. What a waste.
