BALTIMORE —
Baltimore police have confirmed that two fetuses were discovered on a Maryland Transit Administration bus on Saturday.

The medical examiner's office took possession of each fetus and said both were stillborn. Police said it's too early to share any further details. It's unknown who left the fetuses on the bus.

The bus driver told police he found a fetus on a seat while stopped at East 25th Street and Kirk Avenue in northeast Baltimore. But Carver said he alerted the driver closer to 10 a.m. while the bus was at the East 32nd Street and Alameda stop. Carver said he was concerned for the fetus and the woman.

"That was the first thing that came to my mind, not, 'Lock her up.' She needs help. She's in distress. She's in shock. There's absolutely no way that she could have that happen and not need help," Carver told 11 News.

Police said officers were called around 12:40 p.m. Saturday to the 2500 block of Kirk Avenue. When police arrived, officers found a second fetus on the bus.

I take it city busses in Baltimore, or at least this bus specifically, does not have cameras or record only at specific times?
Can't answer as to intervals, but it seems all MDTA buses, along with light rail, Metro and MARC commuter rail, have had interior cameras for years.
From 2012
Surveillance from the ceiling. MTA passengers have ridden with video cameras on the bus for years. Now, the transportation agency says it wants to hear what's going on too.

Undated, and individually anonymous, message to riders from the MTA chief executive:
We have implemented state-of-the technologies of enhanced Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and sophisticated intrusion detection systems to keep our customers safe while utilizing the Maryland Transit Administrations (MTAs) five modes of public transportation. Whether traveling by Bus, Metro, Light Rail, MARC Commuter Rail or our Mobility services, you can rest assured your safety and security are our top priority.

So probably premature delivery of a set of twins?? Too premature maybe and they couldn't breathe on their own. Said he saw a bonnet on one, so she left them on the bus after bringing them from somewhere else, not delivered them on the bus???
