A preliminary hearing for Tyler Scott McCain, the husband of missing woman Nikki Cheng Saelee McCain, took place Monday at 9:30 a.m. Monday. Nikki has been missing for over two weeks, and the community is rallying under the banner "Bring Nikki Home." Supporters for Nikki lined up in front of the courthouse with signs that read 'Bring Nikki Home' and 'Grown Men Don't Hit Women'.

Nikki's car was discovered by the Shasta County Sheriff's Office in Tehama County on May 25 but wasn't officially reported until May 30. This delay has sparked frustration among the community, who were actively searching for the car.

Nikki's family and friends organized the only known first official search for her two weeks after her disappearance, focusing on Bowman Road.
We have asked the Sheriff what kinds of search efforts have been conducted for Nikki, or if any dogs or helicopters were used to help find her. They were unable to answer these questions at this time.

REDDING, Calif. - In collaboration with a local non-profit dedicated to locating missing persons, the Redding Rancheria is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the safe return of Nikki Cheng Saelee-McCain, who has been missing since May 18.

The Redding Rancheria says that they are cooperating fully with local law enforcement, and in an effort to maximize local awareness and gather potential leads, the rancheria has placed a billboard along Interstate 5.

She was last seen on May 18th. She was picked up at a home next to Win-River Casino in Redding, CA, and may have been dropped off at her home on Olinda Road in Anderson, CA Nikki's light pewter metallic 2002 Chevy Avalanche with CA Disabled Parking Plate DP154UT was also missing but later found in Tehama, CA on May 25th. Nikki has a floral design tattoo on her left forearm. A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to her whereabouts. Yes we should definitely look at him, but what if she reached out to the wrong person for social support?

REDDING, Calif. — The search for Nikki Saelee McCain continues as her family. friends. and concerned citizens came together to search tribal grounds and by plane on Sunday.

The Win-River Casino granted search groups looking for Nikki access to the Clear Creek area on Wednesday and Sunday. On Sunday, at 9 am, the search crew met at the Clear Creek Market.

Nikki has been missing for over a month now. Her last confirmed communication with her sister took place on Friday, May 17th, 2024. During their conversation, Nikki mentioned being at the hospital due to a family member's health issue. At 12:35 am, Nikki sent a text indicating that she was driving her mother-in-law's vehicle back to her mother-in-law's home near Win-River Casino in Redding, CA. It is unclear whether Nikki was picked up by a friend of her husband or by an Uber, as these specifics remain unconfirmed.

When Nikki's sister sent texts at 7 AM and 8 AM with no response, it raised concern. Nikki is known to regularly communicate her whereabouts and would not leave her four children without notice. On May 25th, 2024, Nikki's 2002 Chevy Avalanche, with the California license plate DP154UT, was discovered abandoned in Tehama County, CA.

"This area was searched because it was partially searched on Wednesday and it’s kinda close to where my sister was last known to be seen or heard from”

Other parts of the tribal grounds remain private due to tribal sovereignty and access has to be requested and granted beforehand.

JMO but this was exactly the reason Nikki was disappeared and most likely unalived. Its so disheartening to see these cases over and over. Children’s lives are being destroyed by these monsters, who can’t just let a woman walk away from them.
