The Austin Police Department (APD) is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 58-year-old, Jon Stamm. Mr. Stamm was reported missing on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 5 p.m. He was last seen On Tuesday, June 11, at approximately 9:30 a.m., at his home located in the 10400 block of Wolftrap Drive.

At this time, APD is concerned for Mr. Stamm’s wellbeing.

Mr. Stamm is described as:

* White male
* Brown hair
* Brown eyes
* 5’10” tall
* 195 lbs.

Anyone with information regarding Jon Stamm’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.

Family still searching for missing south Austin man after a week

Austin police are still searching for Jon "Scott" Stamm, who was last seen in south Austin on June 11.

Stamm's family says this is unusual behavior for him. He was supposed to start his new job at Dell Seton Medical Center on June 11, and never showed up. Before he went missing, he was on a ZOOM meeting orientation for the new job, then disappeared shortly after somewhere around the time frame of 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.


The family has created a Find Scott Stamm Facebook page where they will be giving updates on Stamm's search.

The search is intensifying for a missing south Austin man. 58-year-old Jon Stamm was last seen around 9:30 a.m. on Monday morning.

The Find Scott Stamm Facebook page says he went missing and left behind keys, car, wallet, phone, bike & IDs.

So he was apparently on zoom on June 11 for orientation for his new job. His first shift must've been scheduled for that day, the description is that he didn't show up for work on June 11.

So did he walk away? The temperatures are already quite hot in Texas. His family must be frantic.

I wasn't clear as to why he was listed as "endangered" when this first was posted but this update states he had changes in his emotional behavior recently, which coupled with the disappearance was/is cause for concern. Family still searching for missing south Austin man after a week
