JMO But I would personally be beyond shocked if Little Miss X was Evelyn. I am certain that Evelyn died in Wisconsin that night inside that house. I think her remains were buried in the woods. MOO
I agree with this. I feel Evelyn's remains are still in Wisconsin. Hopefully she's found soon.

On the other hand, I feel it should still be ruled out, just in case.

Does anyone actually know for certain whether Donnis Redman was officially ruled out? I was going to suggest her as well, then saw many others before me had had the same idea. Donnis/Pinky checks all the boxes for being a perfect match, and there are still 0 exclusions listed for this doe.

They "ruled her out" on descriptors that don't really hold up in modern investigations. I remember some points from earlier on the thread so I'll just list them here.

1. They believed LMX had darker skin than Pinky.
2. They believed LMX had darker hair than Pinky.

In a bit of a summary, no, they never ruled her out using DNA or dental records, as LMX has no DNA and Pinky has no dentals available, at least to my knowledge.

In other news, we have found the photos of LMX's skull that used to be on her NamUs by using the Wayback Machine, but I'm worried releasing them may be insensitive.

I also never got anything back on that clay bust that may have been made in the 60s. I'm assuming that the photos of the bust are either lost or LE doesn't want them released.

The bust may well be useless either way. Who knows if it would even be accurate? I have been scouring the internet databases of Arizona and California papers of the time, but so far no luck in identifying any leads.

Edit: In case this wasn't already up, I did find the original Arizona Sun article about the discovery

Very interesting article. It also states a second skeleton was found, and a saddle? Did I read that correctly?

I have a question maybe someone here will be able to answer. She was wearing "WorldFamous Graff California Wear". Does this imply that she was from California, or would Graff be selling clothing in all states?

She has been mentioned several times and they say it is not her. Though the P.R. on the bottle seems like a good lead. I could not access the article above, but did it say a male was found with the UID?

Is it possible that she was a victim of Mack Ray Edwards??
"Mack Ray Edwards, an American child sex abuser and serial killer who molested and murdered at least six children in California between 1953-1970."
Her age, the time, and the fact that Arizona is not that far from California could indicate that she was his victim.

This has been thought of, and one of LMX's possible matches is Brenda Howell, one of Edwards' believed victims. Brenda's dental records aren't available, so we can't be sure.

However, while Brenda was wearing capri pants at the time of her disappearance, they weren't the same ones LMX was wearing, note the different colours. Brenda still can't be definitively ruled out, though.

I do wonder if maybe LMX was an unknown victim of Edwards, but not Brenda. LMX's date of death is in the period that LE is looking into when it comes to potential victims (1956 - 1968)

By the way, I absolutely do not rule out that Pinky Redman could be this UID, given ALL the factors (height, weight, the inscription on the nail file, clothes, as well as the fact that her boyfriend's car was found near the place where little Miss X was found) and also that Brenda, and LMX, as well as Donnis, may be victims of Ray Edwards.
But I also have other versions that the case of this LMX may be related to the case of Sharon Gallegos. The same modus operandi can be traced (dyed hair, "adult" clothes and age (little Miss X was a little older than Sharon).

While always possible in the realm of things, I'm not sure if Mack Ray Edwards would have been the killer to LMX. He stayed in California for the most part, and claimed that he buried his victims under the highways he'd construct.

Thank you all for keeping LMX case progressing. As far as I know, Donnis “Pinkie” Redman has not been ruled out.

As far as the clothing, that was found, I need look up my notes. I believe they were found a year so after LMX.

Doe Network states Donnis has been excluded, but doesn't state by what means. Last I can recall, Donnis had DNA available and the remains didn't. The only identifier the remains had were dental records, where Donnis didn't have those. So it's not clear how the exclusion was made, or how reliable the source. I'm team these remains could still be Donnis.
Last we knew, the remains were missing, but interestingly, doe network also states they may have been located in 2018, which sounds kind of iffy to me.

Also, if investigators still have her hair in evidence, they may be able to extract a usable DNA sample from a strand.
They are now able to extract DNA from strands of hair without a follicle. Hair dye could interfere, but it depends on the hair dye. They may find a few strands without hair dye on them. If they haven't found the remains, maybe the hair could be used to build a DNA profile instead. I don't know if they've tried this yet, as extracting DNA from a follicle-less strand of hair is relatively new.

It's SOOO good that you can now use DNA from hair, and also, possibly, chains. Of course, the dye might get in the way, but I don't think it's such a big deal.
Know, Little Miss X, everyone will remember and love you and your family (if there are any still alive) are trying to find you, know that. RIP.
