I know JN’s family is in immense pain but shouting “I hope they kill your children” to the accused is horrible.
True, but I can imagine how angry I'd be, if I heard the guy that raped/killed MY child then asking the judge for lower bond 'because I have family here.'

I'd be like REALLY? You want mercy because you are a father and I just buried MY child because of you?

It is horrible they shouted that out but I do understand the outrage. Being given 'a break' because he has children is maddening, imo.

Only one of them strangled her. That's the one who should get the DP, in my opinion. The one who didn't needs to speak up. IMO
But we don't know for sure---because she was reportedly under the bridge with them for TWO hours. So it can't be as easy as one guy killed her and the other did not. Two hours is a long time for the 'innocent' guy to be there hanging around.

Sounds to me like they took turns before she was ultimately strangled. IF SO, they both deserve the DP, IMO.

I don't have the link, so JMO.
I read earlier that an employee from Seven-Eleven saw her hiding behind the 'storage unit' or some external building when he left work. He recognized her as a regular customer.
Does anyone have a timeline link? I'm sure it was near midnight when he saw her hiding.

ETA: I found it, it was actually you @Yuletide who said you had read it on Houston local news

He saw her hiding at 11:30pm, when he was leaving. She entered the store , left alone then returned later with the two males at 12:58am , then left with them.

So who was she hiding from at 11:30pm?
It is possible she was standing behind the dumpster talking on the phone with her boyfriend. The employee recognized her as a frequent customer and didn’t think anything about it.

Indeed. The local family he speaks of isn’t his children. I believe it was reported they don’t live in the US. My hope is that these two evil beings retain solid legal counsel and plead guilty. I would like to see the distraught family spared the graphic testimony of a trial and the other legal gymnastics that tend to be incredibly painful to a grieving family. If it does go to trial, I wish the family strength to let these “men” have their day in court.

Whatever went down, I have no doubt it will boil down to what it always does - low quality ne'er do wells always kill to silence someone. Either she was going to report an assault or she found out something they didn't want getting out. I don't think the meeting was random - there's going to be a digital trail.

It is your opinion that she intended to meet them at the 7-11?
