Curious if it's relevant to LE if any of the info they've gathered corroborates the claims LP the swinger made in her affidavit?
Maybe. They must have used the accounts that aligned with their new material.

I just hope that SC ”confession rate” (97%) doesn’t factor in here.

But what can you do? And I have no reason to doubt the current task force…..it’s just easy to look for confirmation rather than analyze unbiased observations. That goes for everyone btw.

There is a need for speed. But it comes at a cost.

Investigators have forwarded 15 "credible" reports from sex workers who may have had encounters with suspected serial killer Rex A. Heuermann to the Gilgo Beach task force after speaking with nearly 300 Long Island women living behind bars.

Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon Jr. told Newsday on Monday his investigators spoke to 298 sex workers in Suffolk and Nassau correctional facilities since Heuermann was arrested in July 2023. The investigators are planning to interview sex workers in New York City’s Rikers Island about Heuermann later this month, he added.

“My staff has been deemed as subject matter experts,” Toulon said. “That is why Nassau and New York City want them to come in and speak to these sex workers.”

Task force investigators will ultimately decide what evidence is relevant and could be used against Heuermann…

The interviewing of sex workers has been ongoing which is great news that the investigation is continuing to cover all aspects of RH.

"LONG ISLAND - Interviews with incarcerated sex workers will hopefully offer specially trained investigators with the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office insight into the actions and mindset of suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann.

Out of more than 140 interviews in Suffolk and Nassau Counties, Sheriff Errol Toulon Jr. says info from twelve women including two claims that detailed violent and aggressive encounters with the former architect will be passed on to the Gilgo Beach Homicide Investigation Task Force for vetting."

Newsday interview with Sheriff Errol Toulon Jr on task forces set up for SW'ers interviews.
Interesting video on RH's entry into his jail and going forward.

@ 15:25 begins SW involvement in investigating the case.

I am hoping the task force stays strong.

No one person "is" the task force, but every voice in it has a role. Sheriff Toulon is part of the task force and I would think that his evaluation of credibility should matter as much as all parts, including State and Federal LE. The DA would have the most expertise on how it will work in trial. But they do not have the most expertise vetting.

I hope no parts of the task force are trying to be "in charge." I also hope every part has the humility and openness to information that Sheriff Toulon has. Sheriff Toulon is not acting like this is "his" task force. And I admire that.

But he is almost phrasing things like he is giving information to the task force, rather than gathering information as part of the task force. Maybe it's just his natural humility. Maybe it's Newsday editing. But that subtle separation of Toulon's work from the task force as a whole worries me. As much as every agency, the Sheriff Department IS the task force.

There is no reason to connect Sheriff Toulon to the Suffolk County detectives' infamous murder investigation MO: Identify perp then extract a confession.

I believe Snarast was referencing Jimmy the King- an excellent read. The confession rate is discussed there; Suffolk solved more murders by confession than expected statistically. A lot more. Some people don't think confession should be admissible evidence, especially not confessions from children or persons incarcerated or detained.

Toulon has very respectably spoken about his inmates. I get the impression he understands trafficking and addiction and financial desperation very well. He has empathy.

The swinger affidavit has been thoroughly vetted.

It is credible.

I'm looking forward to trial when we will probably learn the details only LE knows, such as the identity of the narc cop.

False statement. Show a source from LE that states it was found to be credible or even verified. An "affidavit" given to an attorney carries no weight as evidence in an actual criminal trial.

What a catch!
OMG! FEBRUARY 14, 2021

The "Andy Roberts"...he knew then that it was Karen when her partial remains were found on 4-20-96 and hit the news?

Maybe he was itching again on 2-14-21 when he set up the "Andy Roberts" account and/or going down memory lane?
Absolutely and making that account on the suspected anniversary of her disappearance- just despicable and using the two names of the men who found her- wow!

If R and B were each into BDSM culture, they might have had random encounters whether from a distance, or not at specialty clubs? speculation, imo.
yes. shared interests drawn to similar bars, clubs, private parties, and stores. Online chat rooms such as 4Chan, Discord, Reddit, etc...swapped "stories" and tips.
Birds of a feather flock together.
Thick as Thieves.
