Missing 51-year-old man last seen in southeast Marion County

Law enforcement authorities are asking for help from the public to locate a missing and endangered 51-year-old man who was last seen two weeks ago in southeast Marion County.

Daniel Arthur King was last seen by his family on Monday, June 24. On that date, he was seen walking in the 14200 block of SE 151st Place in Weirsdale with his girlfriend, Tiffany Payne, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

King’s family members reached out to MCSO on Tuesday, July 9, after they began receiving messages about King being missing.

“The messages the family received have caused concern about Daniel’s well-being,” stated the sheriff’s office.

Not sure why he is endangered unless they are thinking self harm. In Dec 2023 Daniel was arrested and found guilty (May 2024) on charges of domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment (that charge dropped) and tampering with witness and/or victim. He's currently in violation of his probation. Case No. 422023CF005106CFAXXX.
