Tennessee police have requested Georgia's help locating a missing woman after her phone pinged in two of our cities.

Valerie Elder Smiley, 41, was last seen on June 28 at 2 p.m., leaving her home in Chattanooga.

On June 29, her phone pinged in Fayetteville. It pinged again in Union City the next day.

if she was abducted or kidnapped, do we really think that the person who abducted her is driving around using her cell phone or carrying it on them in their car?

she has to be aware people are looking for her and if she just wanted to disappear and walk away why did she do it this way?

Do I believe she walked away? No.

Missing Tennessee woman's phone pings in Georgia cities, police say

Last phone ping was on 6/30 in Union city GA. This location is about 2 1/2 hours from her chicken shack!

What i don’t understand is if they were able to track her phone and her location why they weren’t immediately going to those places?

I saw a flyer for Valerie at a local business about 30 minutes from Chattanooga. I hope she is found safe.
