Milwaukee police search for missing man, vehicle spotted near Wisconsin Dells​

Police in Milwaukee are searching for a missing and endangered man who was last seen leaving his workplace Tuesday morning. ...

Griffin Schneider, 29, of Milwaukee was last seen at around 10 a.m. in Milwaukee. He is white, about 6'6" tall, weighing 210 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair with a goatee.

Schneider is known to drive a black 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan with Wisconsin license plate AVV-8157. Police said that vehicle was spotted near Wisconsin Dells at around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday night.

I can't help but wonder if MKE police think he may have been a victim of a carjacking. IMO, it's unusual to be looking for a tall, big, fit-looking man like Griffin, especially so soon. Something has prompted their concern, though.

They listed him as "critical missing". That can be used when a person may be a victim of a crime, but LE usually states as such, as that provides additional clues. The critical missing term is also used (in his age group) for

• Medical attention: The missing person may be in critical need of medical attention
• Disability: a physical, mental, or cognitive disability that puts them at risk.
• Drug dependency: The missing person may be drug dependent, and their dependency could be life threatening (I'm thinking this could be medications such as insulin, not necessarily referring to addictive drugs taken for other than health reasons).
• Mental incapacitation: this includes being at risk of suicide
• Imminent danger: The missing person may present an imminent danger to themselves or others
• Life threatening situation: The missing person may be in a life threatening situation
