Felony warrant from OK. for 1st degree murder & child neglect. Held without bond pending extradition to OK. Booked (1/19/23) in Caddo County Jail. Held on $1M bond. *Charged (1/20/23) with 1st degree murder/child abuse & child neglect. These charges were amended (12/12/23) to 2nd degree murder & child neglect. Held without bond. 10/7/24 Update: Both: Disposition docket hearing on 10/9/24 @ 1:30pm. The court will take guilty pleas. The Court will also hear motions & set trial dates on not guilty pleas. For Brownfield: Passed for further negotiations.

A woman accused of killing 4-year-old Athena Brownfield in Cyril is expected to enter a blind plea in November, court records show.

Now, Adams is putting her fate in the hands of a judge, as she's expected to change her plea on Nov. 13. The court is expected to set a date for a sentencing hearing.

Additionally, Brownfield's biological mother, Jasmin Brownfield, is also facing charges of child neglect.

Court records show negotiations between prosecutors and Jasmin Brownfield are underway, and it is possible she could plead guilty at her next court date in January 2025.


@MsMarple - as you can see above Adams is due in court on 11/13 - to change her plea & I will need Brownfield's court hearing in January. TIA! :)

I do have Ivon on 11/15.

Thanks a bunch! :) At least 2 of these "people" will be put away - now for Ivon!
Now wondering if these 2 will have to testify in Ivon's trial - IF he does not plead guilty in his arraignment hearing on 11/15....
