Hopefully this is not her:
Officers were sent around 11 a.m. to the area in the rear of 1005 Centennial St. and 1020 Yankee Road for a possible dead body, according to a police incident report.

When they arrived, they met two women on scene. Both had just called 911 in reference to the human remains, which they reportedly found in a large brown Rumpke trash can.

"I think I know where my sister's body is at," one of the women told a 911 dispatcher. She said she needed to talk to a detective as soon as possible on a case they had been working on together.

The second caller told dispatchers she had been working with Agee in the investigation into the disappearance of Asiah Slone, last seen June 6 in Middletown. The caller said she was driving on Centennial Ave. when she spotted a trash can behind a home where Slone was last seen.

Middletown detectives are continuing to investigate and are working to identify the remains that were determined to be human after an autopsy on Tuesday. As of 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, there had been no positive identification or cause of death determined.

Martin Schneider, coroner’s office administrator, said, “We have had to move on to the next step in the identification process. We will be sending samples to BCI for DNA testing to identify the individual. Unfortunately, I do not have a timetable for those results to come back.”

Still no word on the formal identity of the remains though a bullet hole in the body likely supports the murder charge. Bullet hole in human remains found in Middletown garbage can, police say. Butler County Court records show multiple charges for drug possession and drug abuse for Asiah. If you open the dockets you can see her probation was cancelled in 2021. https://clerkservices.bcohio.gov/es...2WO9wH1sCm3g3Elx0J1KAG4gjxcC0Sjrg-yAtFOtLXiMQ

The coroner's office records indicate that 35-year-old Asiah Slone's remains were found July 1 in the 1000 block of Centennial Avenue. While officials conducted an autopsy, Slone's cause and manner of death were listed as "pending."

"I think I know where my sister's body is at," one of the women told a 911 dispatcher.

After woman's body found in trash can, man accused of ordering another to 'finish her off'

A second suspect has been apprehended in the fatal shooting of a woman whose remains were found inside an alleyway trash can in Middletown.

Brandon Davis, 45, was arrested Thursday night and charged with complicity to aggravated murder, the Middletown Division of Police said in a Facebook post on Friday.

Officials said the remains of 35-year-old Asiah Slone were found inside a trash can in the 1000 block of Centennial Avenue on July 1. Slone was last seen on June 6 and a missing persons investigation was launched on June 15, police said.

Butler County Common Pleas Court records show Perry Hart, 59, was indicted last month on numerous charges, including aggravated murder and kidnapping, in connection with Slone's death.

When officers responded to investigate a report of a possible dead body, they were met by two women who said they had been checking the area for any evidence of Slone's whereabouts when they found the remains in a large Rumpke trash can, according to police records.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Middletown Municipal Court, Hart told detectives in an interview that Slone was initially shot once by another person. Hart then dragged her down the steps into the basement while she was moaning in pain, according to the complaint. Police documents state Hart admitted he pointed the gun at her head, closed his eyes and fired one shot, which struck her. Then she stopped moaning.

..

Two small round holes were located in the skull and a projectile embedded in the bone of the skull was recovered.

Davis is accused of shooting Slone before ordering Hart to "finish her off," investigators said in a separate criminal complaint, adding that Davis provided Hart with the gun used to shoot Slone in the head.

Officials said that Davis is currently being held at the Middletown City Jail. Municipal court records indicate he has an arraignment set for Friday afternoon.

Hart's next court hearing is a plea or trial setting before Common Pleas Judge Michael Oster Jr. on Sept. 23.
