@Clearsky Thanks :) for opening this thread, altho imo it's sickening to read.

In reacting to Kiernan's actions from as early as 2020 to the time of his Nov 2023 auto crash that killed his friend, his Mother Elizabeth Puleo-Tague made numerous 911 calls.

17 yo punching his Mother, biting her arm, breaking furniture in the home, unauthorized use of her cr. cards, underage drinking, prior reckless driving habits.

From linked NYP article:
"Currently, no charges have been filed against Puleo-Tague."
"Now facing second-degree MURDER for the death of his friend, Tague is not being charged as an adult but instead as an “adult designated,” meaning if he is convicted, the judge could sentence him as an adult or a juvenile or impose a blended sentence....
"In Michigan, second-degree murder carries a maximum sentence of LIFE IN PRISON." < my CAPS

After his March arrest, he is now out on bail.

LE Is Investigating Mother Who is a Campus Minister. Does Son Have Affluenza?

From Daily Mail below:
"Now Tague's mother, Elizabeth Puleo-Tague is being investigated by police after text messages emerged showing she was aware of her son's speeding habit - which she had intimate knowledge of through a GPS app called Life360.

"Flynn's parents told The Detroit Free Press that Elizabeth should face criminal charges, with his devastated mother Anne stating: 'It's like she handed him an AR-15.'"

"Elizabeth, the campus minister at a local Catholic School, bought herself a brand-new BMW weeks after sending those texts that she proceeded to give her son access to..."

"... history of bad behavior aside from speeding, including assaulting his mother in 2020.

"The offenses were uncovered by Grosse Pointe City police officers who penned a report laying out the more than 20 offenses, and problems he was having at home... while mom was away in Canada."

Members of the clergy are known to be forgiving, but this ^ ???

Brings to mind the Texas case in which atty argued "Affluenza Defense" several yrs ago.

Gotta find a link. BRB. Here is WS thread #3 on that case:

wow. This mother reminds me of Erika Scholtes, wife of Christopher Scholtes, who is charged with the death of his toddler daughter in a hot car for hours in AZ. ES also texted CS about her concerns over his speeding with their kids in the car and repeatedly leaving them in the car for extended periods.

I agree, this case may be one of affluenza and a mother enabling the ever growing dangerous behaviors of her son.

I was reading about this incident this morning. One of the bits that stood out to me is the mom pleading with her son to pick up some wine. Then, in later texts, telling him that having a false ID was illegal. She KNEW he had a false ID (otherwise, how could he have picked up alcohol?) and used that to her advantage. This sure seems like a very twisted parent/child relationship. Inside teen car crash 'killer' and his mom's bizarre relationship

DailyMail article dated Aug 31 has some "shocking new videos" of Kieran, driving nearly 140 mph just days before the fatal crash.
(I have not read yet or watched vids)

A New BMW?
How could a chaplain afford a new BMW?
@airportwoman How? Per story* linked in Post #1, Mother had a 2015 Subaru Forrester and an Audi. IDK as a fact. Maybe she sold both to buy the Beemer?

Or she may -
- have received Beemer from husband or special friend?
- be receiving income or principal from a family trust fund?
- have received inheritance(s)?
- have received a large settlement or jury award from a pers. injury case?
- have invested a modest amt in a crypto currency & made out like a bandit?
- ditto, timing w stock(s) or other securities, w long term holds or day trading?
- have received a large amt in a dissolution of marriage?
- have won a state lottery?
- have invented a new widget, received a patent & raked in big $ royalties.
- have written a bestselling book under pseudonym, raked in big $ royalties.
- have been sharing household & personal expenses w a spouse w a higher income than her own income.
All the above may be possibilities, some more likely than others.

No trying to be a smart aleck, but we don’t know what we don’t know.

@ airportwoman I think I see what you’re saying. :)
Imo doubtful that a "campus minister at a Jesuit high school” * w a teenage son in Grosse Pointe, MI. area could live so frugally (by clipping coupons for grocery items, filling clothes closet w Goodwill finds, furnishing home from thrift stores, etc.) as to manage on that earned income alone to buy a new Beemer.

If any MSM or WS approved source referred to either
Kiernan's father or to Kiernan's mother Elizabeth Puleo-Tague's husband,
I've missed it.

Anyone else see ^?

IIUC that first vehicle appears to be an Audi (black interior, driven at night); then a Cadillac (grey/black interior, driven on freeway daylight); again the Cadillac (in more residential area tree-lined streets); and again a Cadillac. And IMO the sheer idiocy of driving that Cadillac at high speed in the narrow confines of a parking garage perhaps? SMH. I imagine he was not wearing a seatbelt?

Basing above on the steering wheel emblems / crests in the vehicles in the video. Seems a juvenile driving repeatedly under those circumstances should IMO be charged as an adult. It resulted in the death of an apparent friend. MOO

@I am not Sherlock H. Thanks :) for post pointing out that vids showed him driving Cadillac, apparently not belonging to his mother.
I wonder whose car? Did he have owner's permission to drive?

I'm notoriously olivious to MV emblems, badges, etc.
Glad you caught this.
