basically the defendant does not admit guilt in an Alford plea but does admit that there is enough evidence to convict him/her

i don't know how to answer this without again overstepping rules here - suffice it to say, (IMO) that his childhood wasn't what i would wish on my children though a lot of kids have a less than pleasant upbringing... and do just fine it's very sad and confusing to see him in court now shackled...
