Maybe they're "searching" in a way that doesn't require them to be physically onsite at this point? Reviewing local video? Looking through tiny bits of potential evidence sifted out from snow and dirt? Comparing local witness accounts? All speculation, just hoping for a miracle over here.

LOL not in Colorado. (And I don't mean to be rude, I'm just laughing from the pain of every snow dump at the end of April I've ever endured.)

Thanks for elaborating. I think I might agree with you about her attraction to any source of prestige or respect she could attach herself to (military service/status, education), but I think she used whatever "me" time she might have had due to AS's line of work to martyr herself further into...

Can you explain more about what you are talking about in the bolded? What lifestyle and what freedom?

...But that isn't why her license was suspended. I see your point about how license issues can look a lot more serious than they are without context, but in this case we do have context: her license was suspended because of a contract issue that, IMO, shows her to be unprofessional and...

I wonder if part of what was going on at the time the contract dispute/licensure issue went down was that she was considering NOT moving when AS's apparently upcoming military move happened. Maybe the marriage and their cohabitation was up in the air at that point and she was hedging her bets...

Maybe what looked like the family occupying the house was really LE interviewing them extensively, especially the little sister. They could have wanted her to be able to tell what happened where, and it was more useful with a child that age to do it right where it happened. JMO, pure...

I can see this scenario as one possibility too. She certainly seems to be no stranger to the hissy fit followed by strong commitment to the playing the martyr. Those poor kids (all 3).

Just to play devil's advocate (because I think your point about the clothes is valid, especially her daughter's clothes): I think it's within the realm of possibility that she disappeared a child to prove a point. JMO

Agree, and especially if you happened to be a young child living in the same household. :(

Question for the legal and LE folks: is there a way a potential crime scene could be sealed off or otherwise made off-limits to one person but not everyone? Seems unlikely since nobody has been designated a POI but maybe? Or maybe there is an order of protection in place that nobody's talking...

I've been on board with this being possible too. I think the fact that the audio was not released at the same time supports this theory; why would the neighbor and the reporter who taped the clip that was released not record and release the audio as well, if there wasn't some strategy involved?

I'll continue to speculate along my theory that the removal of TS from the house was for the benefit of Gannon's sister so that she would feel safe enough to talk: maybe it became clear that this was what she needed after both of her bio parents were together under one roof. Maybe it was even...

It just occurred to me that maybe AS's allegedly kicking TS and her daughter out of the house shortly after the beginning of the investigation was actually more about HIS daughter than about any fresh conflict between the adults. I mean, clearly there is plenty of history and conflict between...

Although little sister may have/probably did come straight home from school since we haven't heard otherwise, lots of elementary schools offer after school care and activities for all students. There are several listed as open to all grades at Gannon's school, specifically. This probably...

Another elementary teacher here agreeing with you. Plus I guarantee you every single staff member at that particular school is feeling even more protective than usual about all of the kids there, specifically not wanting to compromise the investigation, anyone's safety, anyone's privacy, or the...
