Victim: Alexis Murphy, 17, missing from Shipman, VA, 03 August 2013 - #4

"But that doesn't mean he wasn't able to drive.... Does it...?" No, it doesn't.

Why so much purple? Purple was Alanna's favorite color. It's just a coincidence, right?

Yes, legally. But one also has to consider community standing.

Could TH have been having sex with men for money/drugs, while his proclivities lay elsewhere?

Going out on a limb, here, but we're not making much progress with what we have. TH had sex with men. Perhaps one of those men was a neighbor, a fine upstanding citizen who nobody would suspect of sodomy, and he'd like to keep it that way. I'll call him "Mr. X". So, when TH walked to his house...

Dang. She was the first one I thought of, too, when I heard about the bust, but I'm so happy for the other girls who can, now, come home.

Some of us suspect that the evidence removed from his home was surveillance videos. If we are correct, could LE have have gotten his fingerprints/dna from the tapes, either serendipitously or by design?

The car belonged to KG, and Alanna "belonged" to LG and MM. What if the sicko, not understanding that KG was as much a parent, except for biology, as the other two, felt that he had not, yet, suffered for his "sins", and torched his car? I'm so thankful that the other children are far, far away.

I'm feeling that Alanna was already taken by the time mom got home. If she were just hanging around outside, she'd have seen/heard her mom's car. My kids, at that age, always came running to greet me - on the off chance that I'd brought home ice cream, or pizza, or a new toy.

There was a picture, early on, of LE leaving a neighbor's house with a brown paper bag, and some folks suggested, at the time, that the bag contained surveillance videos. It was the house where the kid who mows lawns lives with his mother. I think your friend might be spot on.

If he were having a confrontation over money, in the garage, he could have emptied his pockets to say "This is all I have".

What if somebody did come home with Bob? Maybe he needed to pick something up for the guy, or they were doing a transaction. Things went south and Bob ends up incapacitated. The "friend" dumps Bob, conveniently leaving the wallet behind to delay identification, parks Bob's car and hops a train. MOO

TP cores can be used for lots of crafts, and for storing yarn. I have a stash of about a dozen for making Christmas Crackers.

The "salute" indicates, IMO, kids, or, at least immaturity.

I've been going back and forth on this for days, so I'm just going to say it. My gut says that "roommate" might be a euphemism for "significant other", which would open up a whole new area for consideration.

Nobody buys a 12-13 year old a dress unless said tween is present. "Ew, Mom, That dress is soooooo last week."

It will be interesting to see if the hair coloring was totally rinsed out. A bit too much residue might be evidence of a rushed job or an inexperienced hand.

Perhaps, if Jennifer really did buy it, it was aspirational lingerie. As in, "I'm gonna wear my old droopy bras and panties until I lose a few more pounds, and then I'll be able to wear THIS!" I've had aspirational jeans. Many times. ~g~
